Talya put on a memorable performance on senior night, showcasing her poise and playmaking ability. She has a tight handle that keeps defenders off balance and does a great job finishing layups with high arc, making it tough for taller defenders to contest. Her court vision stands out, as the game appears to slow down for her when she has the ball, allowing her to deliver precise, on-time passes. She can also score from multiple levels, knocking down catch-and-shoot jumpers from the perimeter and pulling up confidently off the dribble inside the arc.

Walker is a spirited guard that’s willing to compete each game. Talya uses her hardnose attributes to make plays on both ends of the floor. Her quick feet allow her to beat most players to the spot and that can make all the difference. Walker is always hustling to those 50/50 balls plus she’s a leader. In her last season, she’ll be ready to get after it and help pilot Cranston West.

Walker will be heavily contributing to CW’s approach this season. They have some scrappy players and Talya is the leader of the troops in that department. She’s a great teammate, plus she can be trusted to give forth a full effort no matter the situation. She’s a smaller guard, but that doesn’t affect her ability to influence the game. Tayla can provide a genuine spark on both ends.

It’ll be nice to catch Walker in action this season. Cranston West will be hungry, especially with Talya being a leader of the squad. She won’t be a detriment to the team, chucking up shots as a guard, rather she’s a player that loves to contribute to the assist column. Walker is an aggressive defender too, getting underneath ballhandlers and being a pest.

Although Walker may be the smallest player on the floor, she has the heart of a lion. Each time watching her, she’s displayed a certain toughness and assertiveness needed to negate any height factor. She’s a menacing competitor that plays both sides of the ball vigorously while also providing stable shot-making ability. Talya will take the open shots as well as create some nice looks for herself off the dribble. The ’26 guard is daring and fun to watch go to battle.

One of the smaller players on the court, but she has the heart of a lion. The tenacious attitude with perseverance really shines on the defensive side of the ball. Walker plays with a tough energy that disturbs ballhandlers tempo. She gets underneath them and challenges their ability to protect the ball. Offensively, she uses her speed to her advantage, getting out early to pick the tempo up a bit. Her passes are on target, plus she fills the gaps after finding open teammates. Her passion for the game is quite obvious.
