Tanner is one of the best wings in her class, and she’s going to be an instant impact player in Mid-Michigan’s lineup next year. Tanner was dialed in from deep, draining three moonshots from beyond the college line. Her athleticism, length, and aggressive instincts made life difficult for the opponent. She tracked the ball like a hawk in transition to snag multiple steals and jumped up to bat down a pass for another steal. Tanner showed off her quarterback arm, firing a full-court pass over the defense to a sprinting teammate for the assist. She pivoted in the paint to score a tough, contested jumper and dished out assists. Tanner scored 15 points in three quarters for the Martians and turned in a complete performance.

Tanner is one of the top unsigned wing-forwards still available. She’s been a foundational contributor at Goodrich throughout her career, and that’s been no different this season. Tanner knocks down perimeter shots, creates driving lanes with her dribble, and finishes well at the rim. She’s tough, active on the boards, and protects the basket as a shot-blocker.

Tanner played her best basketball during the Swartz Creek Summer League for Goodrich and made a heavy impact on both ends of the court. Her perimeter game was on point as Tanner drained multiple triples from the wing and the corner. She closed out quickly to block a three-point attempt on the perimeter, worked hard to defend the post, and was a strong rebounding presence. Tanner used a jab step to shift her defender, blew by with a quick crossover dribble, and finished the layup. Her versatility as a perimeter and inside player will be very important to the team’s success this winter.

Tanner had another productive season for Goodrich as they dominated the Flint Metro League with an undefeated conference record and league title. She earned Flint Metro Starts All-Conference Second Team honors, averaging 9.8 points (38.5% eFG%), 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and two assists per game for the Martians. Tanner uses her athleticism to block shots and score acrobatic layups driving to the basket–she will make sagging defenders pay by knocking down perimeter jumpers. Tanner was one of the most exciting wing playmakers to watch on the circuit last year and I’m excited to see her play with this group on Michigan Premier 2026-S40.

Schramm is another key player for the Michigan Storm U16. She has a nice combination of power and finesse to her game. Schramm plays strong near the rim, but is smart about it. She keeps the ball protected and keeps it away from prying hands. Let’s not forget to mention her defense. She’s a stopper on that end and carries versatility.

worked hard on both ends to make impact plays for
Michigan Storm Elite
2026 at the MBA Mother’s Day Classic. Her most athletic play that grabbed my attention happened when she drove hard into a moving defenders chest, elevated up, and hovered in the air to make a contested floater. Tanner scored on a clean fake pass left-handed layup in transition, powered up off two to finish inside, and drilled a corner 3. She is extremely competitive and hit the deck for a loose ball.

Tanner was a key contributor inside on both ends and her efforts led Goodrich to an impressive win Tuesday. She set the tone offensively making extra passes from the high post and along the baseline to create open shots for shooters spotting up. Tanner showed she has the range to hit shots outside, sinking a wing 3. She worked with a relentless effort to seal inside and was able to use various pivot moves to convert contested shots in the paint. Tanner is an effective rebounder, passer, and defender for Goodrich.
