Tarryn Godsey Tarryn Godsey 5'11" | PF Nebraska City | 2025 State NE of Nebraska City High School is going to return this Winter as Nebraska’s prominent blocking force inside the lane. Godsey averaged 5.5 BPG last season in her efforts out on the Varsity floor. This number is staggering if you know that she did this each game, throughout their 22 game season. This Winter Godsey will be looked upon again to bring the thunder inside the lane. She is the force that is the anchor for this team inside the paint and that has been a constant for the past three years now. This Winter for her final go-around, I’m sure that she will be competing with a little extra motivation so that she can finish things off with a bang.

Tarryn Godsey Tarryn Godsey 5'11" | PF Nebraska City | 2025 State NE of Nebraska City did something last season as a Junior that we haven’t seen in a long time out of the state of Nebraska at the high school Varsity level. Godsey put up respectable production numbers across the board but most importantly – she recorded over 4.5 Blocks Per Game in her 22 contests on the season, ending her year with 100 Blocks on the Winter as a whole. This number was above and beyond what anyone else averaged throughout their year, making it a truly eye opening number. Godsey is going to have a chance to step up this Winter and build on what she did a year ago. If she stays confident in her ability, I’m sure she will continue to do well.

It may be a little dramatic to say but Tarryn Godsey Tarryn Godsey 5'11" | PF Nebraska City | 2025 State NE is the type of player where you can almost expect her to average a Double-Double at the Varsity level in the categories of Scoring & Rebounding. Godsey has great size at 6’0, she is coordinated, and she understands the strategic part of the game. She is very good at doing her work early on in possessions, while sealing off her matchup on almost every play underneath the basket. She is at her best when her teammates set her up for success but she is good enough to create her own shot most of the time. When a double team comes, she is fantastic at finding an open teammate either cutting or spotting up at the perimeter. On defense, I could argue that she is just as much of a factor. She impacts others shot attempts because of her mixture of size and physicality on every play, while being pretty disciplined in her actions. I’m not sure the interest that Godsey has from the collegiate level but she is someone that could step in and help a program right away, solely based on her work alone, not to mention skill.
