Cottrell left it all on the court in the elimination game. She stepped outside and knocked down multiple threes, with a good floor game to match her shooting. When Moore hung with Yukon in the first half, it was often because of the versatile scoring she brought to the table. The senior has good a modern basketball skillset for a forward, with smart off the ball moments, a solid handle and of course floor stretching capabilities.

When Taryn debuted on the rankings back in 2021, her ranking was mostly based on her ability to work inside. She used her size well and showed good footwork. She swatted a lot of shots and just generally played a really tough post game at a young age. Flash forward a few years and Taryn’s handles have improved to the point that she looks like a guard running the floor with the ball. She consistently drains the three with one of the prettiest jumpshots in the 2024 group. She has several D-II offers and probably deserves even more. She definitely deserves to be on this list of stockrisers.

Taryn Cottrell Taryn Cottrell 6'0" | PF Moore | 2024 State OK is someone that I was able to watch in two games. In both games, she left her finger prints all over the boards. Rebounding was no stranger for her, as she showed the ability to not only grab a rebound, but to push the pace and make good outlet paces. Throughout the game, she showed the ability to finish inside, drive and finish at the rim, and also knock down a three pointer. She was a solid defender, great rebounder, could make an outlet pass, and knock down an occasional shot.
