This past AAU season, Taylee Wharton Taylee Wharton 5'4" | SG Bellevue West | 2025 State NE of Omaha Supreme AAU Basketball put together a respectable run at the SG position, that helped her secure an offer from Bellevue University (NE). Wharton would be categorized as a SG with a quick trigger from deep, calculated footwork, and awakeners of herself with the space around her in all situations. To be a great shooter, you have know WHEN to shoot. Wharton does. She doesn’t force any shots but understands when she needs to at least look at the basket to get a bucket for her squad. Bellevue West will win by committee this Winter with a lot of different contributors but I think Wharton will be one of their Top Three in multiple categories, when things come to a close.

Taylee Wharton Taylee Wharton 5'4" | SG Bellevue West | 2025 State NE of Bellevue West High School is going to have a bigger role this upcoming Winter with how their roster is constructed and I can’t wait to see how she does with more time on the floor. Wharton is a solid SG and a college committed athlete. Following her Senior season, she will be taking her talents to a Bellevue University program that has some talent already. Wharton is the little sister of Taryn Wharton, who competed with NIU Women’s Basketball, so you know that this runs in her blood and she is willing to do anything to see the one’s around her succeed. Something you can’t say about everyone out there, doing their thing.

Taylee Wharton Taylee Wharton 5'4" | SG Bellevue West | 2025 State NE is someone that we haven’t touched on yet out of the 2025 Class in Nebraska but we should have. Wharton may not have committed super recently but she did commit this past month or so and that should be highlighted. At the next level, Wharton will join up with NAIA – Bellevue (NE) to take her talents and continue on her path of being a baller. At Bellevue West, she has been someone that has produced the past three Winters and that I’m expecting more of that as time goes on at the guard position.
