A kid who is still growing. When it clicks for her, she’s going to be super tough. She’s a kid who makes it hard for opponents to operate down low. Taylor has a nice jumper from the mid-range and is solid working from block to block. I love her physical presence down low, especially on the defensive end. She’s solid at contesting shots and contributes on the boards as well. She’s a part of a loaded Page squad that is going to make some noise for the coming years. Look for her to carve out a niche and thrive in her role as she continues to get better and make a name for herself. A solid ballplayer who is on the rise.

I don’t see a lot of 6′ and over kids entering high school with the agility and fluidity with which Taylor moved around the court on Sunday. She did a great job at the lost art of posting up and sealing your defender in the post before extending her arms to meet incoming passes. When Dolata got the ball on the block and around the rim, she pulled out a lot of post moves in her bag. Whether it was drop-steps, spin moves, or up and under moves. Taylor got her defender out of the way and in the air before calmy finishing at close range. Not every shot went in, but she is the kind of player coaches can build a game plan around because of her skill and dexterity. She is a definitely a future college player and has the chance to play major division one basketball with continued work and improvement.

This kid always has a smile on her face, but she is tough working block to block. She’s a kid who is big time on the boards, but on the offensive end, knows how to establish her presence. She can finish over either shoulder, drop a counter move or two along the way, and step up in moments when her team needs a bucket or two. She’s a part of a loaded Lady Patriots team looking to go deep into postseason contention. Look for her to sharpen her skills throughout the year and be ready for when her number is called. With talent in front of her (including her sister), look for her to be a solid piece for the Lady Patriots in the future.

Dolata is a strong post player that knows how to get to her spots in the paint. Great footwork around the rim and can rebound with the best of them. A player that catches it high and keeps it high. Also knows how to read the defense and kick to her teammates relocating on the perimeter. Hidden gem.
