Holohan is a unique talent. She has been dominating opponents in the paint with her scoring after putting up 37 last week. On the defensive end, she racked up 17 boards, 7 blocks as the primary rim protector. She has great defensive instincts and loves to turn defense into offense in transition. Good footwork in the paint, sets good screens, and finds space when rolling to the basket.

Holohan is heading to Northeastern for her college ball and is an interior presence with size, skill, and athleticism to impact a game. On the defensive end, she can rebound efficiently and loves to swat shots in the paint. She can run the floor on the break and find open lanes to slash on cuts. Her offensive game is developing, but Holohan makes her living in the paint and has elite moves in the post and nice finishing touch.

Holahan possess a rare combination of size, handle, and finishing ability in the post. Perhaps her most underestimated skill is her passing which should bode well for her teammates heading into her senior campaign. She loves to run the floor on the break and is fearless when driving to the basket. She plays the pick and roll to perfection when making cuts to the basket and makes it look easy. Holohan’s post game is where she makes her living. She has good footwork in the post with her back against the basket combined with great hands and touch around the basket makes her dangerous in double team situations. Her ability to kick out to teammates on the break or in the post when she draws attention makes her one to watch heading into her senior year.

Holohan makes her home in the paint on both ends of the floor. On the offensive end, she possesses good lateral footwork in the post, takes high percentage shots, can attack the paint straight at you or play with her back against the basket on either side. Either way, she takes high percentage shots and looks at ease with the ball in her hand. She has good mobility running the floor and can make needle thin passes to open teammates for easy buckets. Perhaps the most exciting part to her blossoming game is her ability to block shots which she does frequently and effectively.

Holohan is a lengthy forward who has the offensive tools to score in a hurry. Her versatility is one of her strengths. She can shoot the three ball and drive without hesitation. The 6’1 power forward is an exceptional rebounder. She also attacks the paint withe ease. Holohan is a NYSPHSAA Champion (2022). She plays on the AAU circuit for Havoc. She holds offers from Manhattan, Canisius, Mount St Mary, Fairfield, etc. Defensively, she needs to be a little more aggressive. She needs to be more active in disrupting her opponent’s rhythm. It is a crucial step to becoming well-rounded as a player.
