#42 Taylor Lyon Taylor Lyon Taylor Lyon 5'7" | SG West Catholic | 2026 State MI played like a roaring lion at the Headliners Invitational Sunday. She is a guard who does everything necessary to win games. Taylor rebounds the basketball and scans the court to find open teammates on offense. She can thread the needle with either hand and forces constant turnovers by making deflections and steals. Taylor drained 3’s from the wing and top of the key; she threw a magnificent inbound pass for an assist. Taylor will be a phenomenal 2026 PG to watch with Wayland this winter.

#42 Taylor Lyon Taylor Lyon Taylor Lyon 5'7" | SG West Catholic | 2026 State MI – the first word that comes to mind is hustle player! She has a motor that didn’t stop on either end of the court. She hustled after multiple offensive rebounds and gained possession with several steals by never giving up. I’m not sure if she usually plays point guard for her high school team as we have her listed as a shooting guard, but she played the position well and demonstrated impressive passing skills.  She had herself a day at the Headliners Invitational.

If college coaches want to see a player hustle and hit the floor, then they’ll want to see Lyon at the PGH Top 250 in Grand Rapids. She did just that last year at the Top 250 and made a coverage article about hustle players. We’d love to see more of the same this year. Lyon is also a very good shooter that can bury a triple at any time.
