won the battle of the bigs at Headliners on Sunday. Her ability to knock down shots from outside and in the high post makes her one of the best stretch forwards in the 2026 class. Kara establishes control of the boards, makes excellent decisions passing the ball, and utilizes great pivots and technique in the post. She is a threat to score outside and will face up and win 1v1 battles to the basket. Kara is an outstanding forward who I am looking forward to see live again on Dec. 22 for Grass Lake.
#48 Golden Nicholson Golden Nicholson 5’8″ | SG DeWitt | 2027 MI has the midas touch: whatever event she attends is gold. If you want to know what hard work and dedication looks like check out her Twitter sometime and you’ll see how she prepares for success at these events. Golden dominated every facet of the game on Sunday at the Headliners Invitational: blocking shots on defense, forcing turnovers with her pressure, making the extra pass, scoring outside, and scoring inside. She converted multiple and one’s after blowing by defenders to the rim. Golden will be a can’t miss prospect with Dewitt this winter.

replaced Katniss Everdeen as “the girl on fire” Sunday at Headliners. There was a stretch of time where I was wondering if anyone on the court could stop her from scoring. She lit up the net from outside making many 3 point shots and converted multiple floaters by winning one on one battles to the rim. Her length, speed, shooting precision, ball handling moves, and aggressive play all add up to her being a next level prospect. As a 2027 for Freeland, she is going to light a fire with Varsity from day one.

played like a roaring lion at the Headliners Invitational Sunday. She is a guard who does everything necessary to win games. Taylor rebounds the basketball and scans the court to find open teammates on offense. She can thread the needle with either hand and forces constant turnovers by making deflections and steals. Taylor drained 3’s from the wing and top of the key; she threw a magnificent inbound pass for an assist. Taylor will be a phenomenal 2026 PG to watch with Wayland this winter.

(2027) loves basketball and her passion results in spectacular performances at these events. She stood out as a top performer at the PGH Freshman Showcase and once again earned recognition by our scouts. Madisyn has a rare quickness, speed, vertical, and relentless style of play that gives her an advantage to win nearly every one on one battle against other guards. She forced an absurd amount of turnovers on the ball and off of it with her lightning quick hands, lateral movement, and recovery speed. She will be a thrilling guard to watch this winter for Flint Hamady.

#27 Danica Dwyer Danica Dwyer 5’6″ | PG Owosso | 2026 State MI (2026) turned in a complete performance at the Headliners Invitational Sunday. She dominated in all phases of the game, which led to her being named MVP. Whether it was help side blocks, steals, assists, 3’s, free throws, finishes: Danica did it all. Owosso will be an exciting team to watch in the Flint Metro this winter with Danica leading the charge.
