Kenley has put together an impressive stretch of basketball over the past several months, and the West Catholic junior enters the high school season with plenty of momentum. After earning First Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore, she continued to elevate her game throughout the fall, delivering strong performances at elite camps and earning MVP honors at the PGH Michigan Expo. Kenley brings a combination of length, strength and skill to the guard position that makes her a difficult matchup. She handles the ball with confidence, uses a variety of crossover moves to create separation and has excellent footwork when working through traffic. Her ability to finish with either hand and maintain body control through contact allows her to score effectively around the basket. Kenley is also a dangerous perimeter shooter who can knock down threes off the catch or dribble. Her consistent play has helped establish her as a top-20 prospect in Michigan’s 2028 class, and she recently added an offer from Ferris State. With West Catholic coming off another strong season, Kenley will be a key piece as the Falcons look to challenge for the OK Gold title and make another deep postseason run.

A word I’d use to describe Kenley’s performance over the fall is consistent. She has consistently separated herself in high-pressure environments featuring top talent. Kenley delivered notable performances at elite camps, Michigan Jam Live 3v3, and then added an exclamation point with an MVP effort at the PGH Michigan Expo. She’s long as a guard, physically strong enough to mix it up inside with the forwards, holds her ground, uses fantastic pivoting footwork to create scoring angles in traffic, and scores with excellent body control, strength, and finishing touch with either hand. Kenley creates space to dish, drive, and shoot with her polished ball-handling control and has a variety of crossover moves in her bag. Her balance and accuracy as a three-point shooter off the hop or the bounce was a frequent separator during elite camps and at the Expo. Kenley picked up an offer from Ferris State, solidified herself as a top 20 prospect, and will look to lead West Catholic on another deep postseason run.

Kenley enters her junior season at West Catholic after earning Second Team All-State honors as a sophomore and playing a major role in another deep postseason run for the Falcons. The 5-foot-9 guard averaged 17.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 3.6 steals per game through the district semifinals while leading West Catholic in both scoring and steals. Kenley showed plenty of consistency as an offensive threat, recording eight games with 20 or more points during the season. Her ability to contribute as a scorer is only part of what she brings, as she also rebounds well from the guard position, creates for teammates and makes an impact defensively. Kenley helped West Catholic finish 20-6 and advance all the way to the Division 2 state quarterfinals. With two high school seasons still ahead of her and plenty of big-game experience already under her belt, Kenley will be one of the top returning players in Division 2 to watch this winter.

Kenley has consistently turned in Top Performer and All-Event Team efforts at our showcases the past few years. Today, she added MVP recognition to her list of accolades. Kenley has good length, athleticism, court vision, physicality, two-way instincts, and fundamental abilities that translate to the higher levels as a CG. She’s a commanding court general who can also play off the ball. Kenley separated herself in games for Team 4. Her three-point shooting is a strength of her game, and that was the case again. Kenley swished a step-back three from the slot, ripped the net on a step-back three from the wing, and drilled a straightaway three off a screen. Her ability to come back on the next possession and sink a three following a previous miss showed a resolve/toughness that you want to see in a shooter. Kenley threw a fantastic lob entry pass from the perimeter over the defense to a post down low. She slashed past defenders off the bounce and finished with the stretch layup. Kenley penetrated and dished out crisp passes, assisting on threes and getting teammates open looks. She took a defensive rebound up the floor 94 feet and switched hands with her eyes up in transition. Kenley stuck with a miss, worked into position to secure the rebound, then scored the putback. She made a great recovery on defense to strip the ball away on a layup attempt and moved her feet to close driving lanes. Kenley will be a huge contributor for a West Catholic squad looking to make it back to the Breslin Center.

Kenley is a 2028 guard I would love to see at The Expo because of the confidence, physicality, and versatility she brings to the floor. She has continued to elevate her game and has proven herself against strong competition at multiple events. Kenley can really shoot the basketball, knocking down threes from different spots on the floor and extending her range well beyond the arc. She is equally effective attacking off the bounce, using her strength and handle to create space and get downhill. Around the basket, her footwork stands out, as she can pivot and maneuver through traffic before finishing with either hand. Kenley also works the offensive glass and uses her strong frame to create additional scoring opportunities. Defensively, she competes and has the athleticism to make plays on the ball. With her ability to shoot, attack, rebound, and score in multiple ways, it is easy to see why her recruitment continues to grow. Kenley would add another high-level 2028 prospect to The Expo, and I would love to see her showcase her complete game in front of the college coaches in attendance.

West Catholic is a consistent D2 powerhouse to make a deep playoff run and this year is going to be no different. They brought four next-level prospects to the gym at Michigan Jam Live 3v3 and were a solid unit throughout the day. Kenley separated herself as one of the best prospects on the court, and she’s going to be the court general for the Falcons again this winter. Kenley impressed me with her consistency, poise, toughness, and complete performance. She was money from three-point range, sinking multiple step-back threes off shifty crossover dribbles and many more off the catch from different spots around the arc. Kenley made excellent entry passes into the post and put on a footwork clinic in the paint. Defensively, she flipped her hips quickly, turning to sprint, which cut off straight-line drives. How do you respond to adversity? In a physical game, Kenley answered the bell and stepped up for her team. She was a strong rebounder, slashed to the rim with determination to score multiple layups in traffic with her right and left, powered through contact on a hard drive for an and-one bucket with her off-hand, and drilled a cold-blooded step-back three. Her gutsy defense, toughness, and all-around effort were separators on the court.

Kenley will be a matchup problem on Sunday. Her length, athleticism, rebounding presence, advanced footwork in the paint, finishing touch around the basket, three-point shooting, court vision, and ability to run the one or play off the ball will be tough to stop. Kenley disrupts passes and closes driving lanes. She is coming in red-hot after some impressive elite camps and will be an exciting guard to watch with West Catholic at Michigan Jam Live 3v3.

Kenley is playing confident and consistent basketball. She’s separated herself as a prospect at multiple tournaments and elite camps the past few months. I saw her play recently at GVSU Elite Camp and Oakland Elite Camp; she was a Top Performer on both occasions. Her size and muscular frame translate directly to the higher levels of the college game as a guard. Kenley ripped the nets with several three-pointers from different spots at GVSU, including some bombs from way downtown. She crashed the boards to secure rebounds on the offensive end and demonstrated excellent footwork to score contested shots inside off two feet. At Oakland, Kenley separated herself as one of the best prospects in the group. She scored many layups after creating space with her dribble and attacking downhill. Kenley used great pivoting footwork in traffic and finished confidently with either hand around the basket. One of her best was after securing an offensive rebound where she pivoted, went up strong to score with her left, then completed the three-point play at the line. Kenley chased down a drive to deflect the ball away on defense, scoring many crafty finishes off aggressive drives. Kenley went on an impressive run during the 1v1 segment. She swished a straightaway three off a jab step, scored a stride-stop step-through layup, ripped by for a stretch layup, and scored another drive-by bucket with her left. Kenley will be vital to West Catholic’s lineup this winter, and she’s provided plenty of support for the offers she’s been getting.

Kenley drilled a straightaway three off an inside-out dribble, poked the ball away for a steal, and pushed it up the court to dish out an assist in transition. Kenley attacked hard off the dribble to cause a foul and made a smart backdoor cut to score a left-handed layup. Her aggressiveness and effectiveness as a facilitator created open looks for teammates, while she took advantage of her own opportunities to put points on the board. Kenley showed her poise and was an impact player for Dream Loudly 16U EYCL at the PGH MI College Tour III.

Kenley had a stellar sophomore campaign for West Catholic, leading the Falcons in scoring with 17.3 points per game. She contributed in every category, averaging five rebounds, 3.6 steals, and 3.1 assists as well. Kenley has a smooth shot from beyond the arc, attacks off the dribble, disrupts guards with her active defense, and is an excellent facilitator.
