Tegan brings positional size and length to the wing, with her activity on the glass serving as her clearest contribution. She got involved in rebounding action and showed a way to impact possessions without needing the offense to run through her. That willingness to pursue the ball gives her a role alongside players who carry more of the scoring responsibility. Don’t get me wrong she did a good job creating offense and knifing her way to the cup. She showed versatility on both ends of the floor and can impact the game in numerous ways.

Tegan’s size and ability the ability to shoot the ball at the guard position make her a very strong candidate to have a breakthrough season in her sophomore season. She is an extremely skilled player who not that long ago won the three-point competition as well as earning the Most Outstanding Player award at the Elite 60 showcase. She is a soft spoken, but very intelligent and thoughtful kid as well. It wasn’t just the shooting from outside that impressed, but Tegan was excellent slashing to the basket with the ball and looking for it on backdoor cuts. Ellis has the athleticism and length to incorporate that into her game more. I think she has a very good chance to play division two in college in three years now, but there is so much potential there that I would not be surprised at all to see her sign with a division one school.
