Foster can really handle the basketball and was able to get past her defender routinely whether it was on the wing or at the top of the key. Sasha is another kid who knows where the weight room is and knows how to utilize the strength she has to hold off defenders when handling the basketball and finish through contact at the rim. I can’t understate how impressive Foster was getting downhill and attacking the basket. She also showed high basketball intelligence with her play without the ball, cutting to the basket, setting on and off ball screens, and attacking the offensive glass. I really liked the way she played the game.

Physical guard who is about to showcase her talent in the 865 area. A shifty lefty who can attack downhill and finish. She has a sweet stroke that she will unleash from multiple spots. I love the physicality she brings to the table, and it affects opponents on both ends of the floor. I am excited to see the maturation of this prospect. Look for her to come out of the gates strong this season and showcase her talent to the area.

The number one thing that stood out about Sasha Foster Sasha Foster 5'10" | CG Knoxville Central | 2029 TN at the Expo event was her post-defense.

Foster, in five-on-five, had to guard bigs who were taller than her almost every time she stepped on the court. She did not back down whatsoever from this challenge and excelled.

Foster had several good shot attempts and had a big block on an attempted layup from one of the tallest players signed up for the Expo. Foster also showed off her above-average rebound ability while in attendance.
