Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

Cummings’ 5A Division 2 Westwood team played two contests on the first day of this year’s Beach Ball. One against another 5A Division 2 team in St. James and a team from Virginia in Deep Creek. Both resulted in Redhawks losses. In the game against Deep Creek, Cumming still finished with seven points plus three rebounds. As someone who can effectively log minutes as either a two in the backcourt or a three in the frontcourt, it is common to find Cummings on the wing. The defense she plays can lead to plenty of steals and a 3-point shot is part of her offensive arsenal.
