Tiana is playing more seasoned now as she has had one year on the varsity team. She is handling the ball better and moving without the ball than she was at the beginning of the year. She is still showing that she has good range from the three-point line. This is a kid that will continue to make strides as she gets more and more reps at this level.

Wright was the lone eighth grader on last season’s 4A Lower Richland team coached by Morgan Stroman. Her performance with Palmetto Pressure this past weekend indicates that Wright is poised for even more playing time – both during high school ball and the travel season. Palmetto Pressure was on hand at the NE2K Classic in Louisville. Wright played up in class in the 16U field and delivered solid performances. She finished with 11 points, four assists, three steals and three rebounds in a contest against City Elite. Wright also added 12 points, three assists, three rebounds and one steal in a game against TSP Smith. Wright would score 10 points, dish out five assists and haul in a pair of rebounds in a contest with Lincoln Elite. 

A spot up shooter that does not hesitate to show off her three point shooting ability. She has deep range and is confident catching and shooting the ball when her feet are set. She got great experience this year playing on the varsity team and will continue to prove herself as she gets older.

Now an 8th grader playing on the varsity team Tiana is starting to feel her way through. She knocked down shots from the perimeter and looked like a natural fit to the team. She also did a good job of filling the open lanes in transition to make a few easy buckets.
