Gray can be flat out dominating. She can absolutely control the paint on both ends of the floor. Gray has been, and will be again this season, a walking and talking double-double.

Gray, a multi-sport athlete, chose to play volleyball for the Indiana Hoosiers over multiple Division 1 basketball offers. She led her team to a District Championship and a 23-2 last season while earning a spot on the 2nd-team Associated Press All-State team. She has already broke the school record for rebounds in a season. She is a walking double-double and I see that continuing her Junior season.

Scouts and coaches would love to see her in Grand Rapids dominating the paint and the glass in Faith Carson type style. I don’t know that I’ve seen a better rebounder this grassroots season than Gray. Teams have to dread playing the Mistics S40 squad and dealing with her on the glass. It seems like Gray grabs EVERY board. I’m willing to bet that there’s never a dropped dish that hits the ground in the Gray household.

Gray was flat out dominant in the paint during high school season this year. She has the look of a really good post prospect at the next level. She puts her length and athleticism to work on the basketball court making her vertical defense a huge asset. Gray is incredibly efficient on the offensive end, shooting over 50% from the field during high school season.
