Zania has been in charge patrolling the paint on one of the nations top teams for a few years and she continues to improve. This year she’s expanded to pushing the ball up court and shooting the mid range shot. She will heading to Cali with her teammate to join her former teammate. The DMV vibe should mesh together nicely for some years to come.

Zania is one of the premier shot blockers in the region and she put another five on her resume yesterday. She showed the ability to attack the basket from the high post and finished well catching right at the basket. She finished with a game high 24 points and was the main reason that Sidwell was able to control the game. She took a couple of midrange jumpers that rimmed out but it showed that she can make that shot. Her footwork is continuing to improve and she is playing even better than in the begining of the season which is most likely an indication that she will be even better during the post season.

is nationally ranked in the top 50 in the class of 2024 for a good reason. Zania is a dominant athlete, and it shows on the glass and defense. She disrupts everything around the rim with her elite timing and aforementioned athletic ability. She is 6’3″ but still moves exceptionally well, and when she faces up against other bigs, she consistently blows by them.

One of the top players in the DMV, Zania had a tremendous showing at the Cinco De Mayo event. She showed off her versatility by dominating on both ends of the court. She is a match up nightmare as she can put the ball on the floor and blow past bigs, or simply power up over smaller players. She is a shot-blocking machine with excellent instincts and timing, patrolling the paint and serving as a deterrent. She has a nice finishing package around the basket and has picked up several D1 offers. She has excellent length and size and knows how to use it.

Great size, athletic with very long arms looks like she will be more of a power but can probably play the center as well at the next level. Great shot blocker very aggressive with good post moves when she gets the ball in her hands. Was really impressed by her continuing to put the ball on the floor and attacking the basket from the free throw line, only a junior and with her skills set her game may evolve to be a good stretch four!

Zania puts her body on the line on every play whether it’s a routine rebound or she’s battling three defenders for a loose ball. She has good hands and elevates well to finish getting to rim level. She runs the floor nicely and can catch and finish on the fly in one motion.
