What McCurry and Scout Henry Scout Henry 5'6" | CG/PF Union County | 2029 GA lack in height they make up for with their skill, toughness, and basketball IQs. McCurry, whose father Travis was a D1 player and graduate assistant at Mercer, showed the above mentioned qualities in spades as she ran the Tennessee United offense. Zoe got the ball where it needed to go on time and position for her very talented teammates to score, including Henry. She used her quickness to beat defenders down the floor and scored or was fouled several times on lay up attempts. One thing she also did that will not show up in the score book was get after loose balls with no fear of physical contact. McCurry got extra possessions for her team by diving on the floor at least three times that I recall. Zoe also stepped in and took more than one charge in Greensboro. She is a player whose ranking will rise when the next round of updates is released.

McCurry is a walking bucket. Her Tennessee United team has a lot of weapons, and she is the engine that gets them going. Plays with a ton of energy on both ends of the floor. Knows how to get downhill and finish through contact but also shoot the 3 ball consistently. A player that keeps the defense on their heels all game.

Defenses are in a hurry to try to stop McCurry – and still usually fail in the process. McCurry’s Wood Elite Howren 15U team was one of two teams in the 2028 field that finished 4-0 for the tournament. The young standout from 4A Cartersville is a consummate floor general that can play the role of point guard but also has the 3-point shooting accuracy of a two guard. She places plenty of emphasis on ball handling, getting up and down the floor quickly and defensive work where she can collect a large number of steals. A signature performance of McCurry’s occurred in a win over FBC Dynasty 15U where she scored 21 points. 

McCurry did her major part in ensuring one of the first winners of the 2025 version of Peach Games would be her Wood Elite 15U Howren assembling. With 14 points, the 4A Cartersville standout paved the way to her team’s first victory of the day – a 43-24 decision over another Georgia team in Team XYZ Golden Youth Eagles Basketball Organization 15U. The opposing team’s offense could do very little in terms of containing her 3-point shooting capabilities. One of the triples she connected on during that game became a four-point play given she was fouled and went to the free throw line. As effective a long-range specialist as she is, she is every bit as effective as a passer. 

McCurry is a player that loves to knock down the corner pocket 3 ball. Always moving without the basketball which makes it easy for her to be in scoring position.
