<p><strong>Anna Counts, Providence, 6-0, senior, post</strong></p>
<p>Counts put some icing and maybe even a cherry or two on top of a breakout season with 35 points, 18 boards, 6 assists and 7 blocked shots in a 67-61 loss to #5AA Minnehaha. She then added 12 points in a 46-35 win over Blake. Her numbers for the season are now at 18-11-3. Grant wrote about Counts’ great season a few days ago. Check it out.</p>
<p><strong>Maddie Loder, Orono, 6-0, senior, point guard</strong></p>
<p>The George Washington recruit continued to light it up, scoring 45 points in a 77-73 loss to Waconia, then 20 more in a 51-46 win over Delano. Her seasons numbers are now an eye-popping 28-8-4-2-1.</p>
<p><strong>Hannah Purcell, Annandale, 6-0, junior, wing</strong></p>
<p>Purcell celebrated her recent commitment to DePaul by score 31 points in a 67-55 win over Rockford, then added 17 more in a 63-45 win over Mound.</p>
<p><strong>Kenzie Rensch, Hutchinson, 5-10, senior, combo guard</strong></p>
<p>Like her conference rival Maddie Loder, Kenzie Rensch is also now in her senior season and has responded by putting her team on her back and carrying it past some rough spots earlier in the year. The Tigers have now won 8 straight, including 2 last week as Rensch scored 52 points, every single one of them necessary. She scored 23 in a 67-64 win over New Prague, then added 29 in a 57-55 win over Holy Family.</p>
<p><strong>Sara Scalia, Stillwater, 5-8, junior, combo guard</strong></p>
<p>Scalia lit it up with 39 points in a come from behind win over Forest Lake 70-57, shooting 7-for-7 over the final 10-minute comeback. She added 18 points in an 82-71 win over Woodbury. Her seasons numbers are 26-5-3-4, her 54 3s and #2 in the state.</p>
<p><strong>Natalie Steichen, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, 5-9, senior, point guard</strong></p>
<p>DGF entered the week undefeated and came from a double-digit deficit to beat Perham 74-72 on Tuesday. Steichen scored 29 and went coast-to-coast for 2 at the buzzer to force OT. She then added 19 points in a 72-49 win over Crookston, and 20 more as the Rebel’s winning streak was snapped by Pelican Rapids 76-72.</p>
