McacNabb is turning herself into a name people are starting to remember, and it's not by accident. Everyone already knows about the shooting – she can stretch the floor and change a game quick – but what stood out at the PGH Shootout was how much stronger she's gotten. You could see it right away. Her team were running inbound sets to get her touches inside, and she delivered. She used her body well, stayed balanced, and showed real patience working through traffic. She opened with 22 points and never slowed down. What impressed me most was how comfortable she looked doing it in different ways. It's still early in the spring, but she's playing like someone already in mid-season form, and that's a tough thing for opponents to deal with.

Saturday felt like a turning point for Montgomery. This is the version people have been waiting to see. She played with purpose, made quick decisions, and stayed within herself the entire time. Nothing was forced. When the lane opened, she attacked. When it wasn't there, she kept things moving and helped her team stay in rhythm. She did a great job of pushing pace and creating easy scoring chances. You could tell she was enjoying it, playing loose and confident with a smile that matched her play. That matters. On the defensive end, she brought energy and toughness. Active hands, physical presence, and the discipline to defend without fouling. When she plays like this, she impacts both ends in a real way. If this continues, she's setting herself up for a strong summer.

Peters looks like a player starting to put it all together. She played with an edge all day and brought a level of confidence that stood out right away. The tools have always been there – length, athleticism, and instincts – and now we're seeing it translate more consistently. She was active around the basket, attacking with purpose and not hesitating when lanes opened up. What I liked just as much was how she moved without the ball. She found gaps, timed her cuts well, and made herself an easy target for teammates. That kind of feel is hard to teach. When things tightened up, she didn't fade. She leaned into those moments and competed. There's real upside here, and if she keeps building on this, she's putting herself firmly in that next-level conversation.

With all the offensive firepower on [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'], Schoenrock found her value in the little things that win games. She embraced the dirty work all day and didn't shy away from physical play. Matched up with a next-level post in [player_tooltip player_id='764943' first='Mariah' last='Sexton'], she competed possession after possession and held her ground. She set strong, timely screens that created space for others and stayed active on the glass. Her effort paid off with multiple trips to the line, showing she understands how to make herself available and play through contact. There's also some touch there – comfortable stepping into mid-range looks and finishing in tight spaces with steady hands. She may not have been the focal point, but her presence was felt. Players like that keep things connected, and every good team needs one.

Antilla's release is as quick as you'll find. It doesn't take much space, and if you lose focus for even a second, the shot is already gone – and usually through the net. Fiona (pictured above) plays with a strong base and keeps the ball tight on the bounce, which makes her tough to pressure. When defenders crowd her, she's able to get by them in a hurry and finish with control at the rim. She brings that same edge on defense. Active hands, solid positioning, and a clear understanding of how to disrupt without fouling. She set the tone on both ends for [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] during the tournament and never let up. Her consistency and pace stood out. With that kind of play, she's building real momentum heading into a big summer before her senior year.

Don't let the size fool you, Salas brings a level of toughness that changes games. She takes pride on the defensive end and it shows every possession. She jumps passing lanes, pressures the ball, and makes things uncomfortable for whoever she's guarding. It's not just effort either. She understands angles and timing, which makes her that much more effective. On offense, she's just as dangerous. Tight handle, quick movements, and the ability to shift defenders off balance. Once she gets into the paint, she's not looking to avoid contact, she's going right through it and finishing strong. She plays bigger than her frame in every way.
