<span style="font-family: Calibri">Bishop McNamara comes fresh off a big when against national top 5 Hamilton Heights a(TN) are hoping not to have a letdown in their second game against Lincoln Prep out of Canada. Mustangs coach Frank Oliver focusing on taking one game at a time said he’s not overlooking anyone. The Mustangs started the game off with a couple of 3-pointers by seniors <strong>Jakia Brown-Turner</strong> (NC State) and a reverse layup by <strong>Aliyah Matharu</strong> (Mississippi State) taking an 8-5 lead after Prep answered with a couple of baskets. Brown-Turner continued to pour it on scoring 12 points in the period as Bmac led 16-8 after the first. </span><span style="font-family: Calibri">The second quarter the Mustangs kept the pressure on with juniors <strong>Liatu King</strong> leading and <strong>Madison Scott</strong> combined for 12 of the 16 points taking them into the half up 32-16. </span>

<span style="font-family: Calibri">Matharu scored 10 of her 14 points in the third period and a three pointer by freshman <strong>Gianni Boone</strong> ended the quarter 47-28. Lincoln Prep's <strong>Brynn Masikewich</strong> had a scored 12 points in the first half but, the Mustangs locked up on defense holding her to 4 points in the second half. Bishop McNamara cruised and </span><span style="font-family: Calibri"><strong>Aniya Bell</strong> (Fairlegh Dickenson) scored at the buzzer to finish the game 56-39. Jakia Brown-Turner took home the game MVP award with a game high 19 points and Aliyah Matharu added 14 points in the win. </span>
