<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #000080;font-size: 14pt"><strong>5 Takeaways From North Point vs St. Andrew's Episcopal School</strong></span></span> &nbsp; The Public vs Private School Showcase had a lot of great matchups but, because of school system cancellations due to winter storm their were a few that didn't happen.  Anyway props to Coach Al for making schedule adjustments and keeping the ball bouncing.  One of the more intriguing games of the day was North Point versus St. Andrews Episcopal.  The teams seemed pretty evenly matched as they went into the break tied at 22.  St. Andrew's broke the game open in the third with a 20-7 quarter as the Eagles used the fourth quarter to battle back falling short 49-43. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>5 Takeaways</strong></span> &nbsp; <ol> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt"><strong>1)</strong> <strong> Simone Foreman is a baller.</strong>  The freshman scored 13 points in the game.  She used her body well to get to the basket and showed her range knocking down a three.  She is strong a plays the game physical and is a major piece for the Lions.</span></li> <li></li> <li></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt"><strong>2)  Brooke Anya is hard to stop.</strong>  Brooke led the game with 17 points scoring in each quarter.  She was pretty much unstoppable in the paint having a variety of moves available with her back to the basket.  The Eagles were pretty much forced to concede the shot or foul sending her to the line.  She showed her face up ability knocking down a three in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.</span></li> </ol> [caption id="attachment_24813" align="alignnone" width="150"] Brooke Anya[/caption] <ol> <li></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt"><strong>3)</strong>  <strong>Latavia Jackson is fast.</strong>   Jackson finished the game with 9 points and showed that she can get by most any defender that was on the floor.  The guard added 5 rebounds basically by using her speed to beat the defender to the spot.</span></li> <li></li> </ol> [caption id="attachment_24817" align="alignnone" width="150"] Latavia Jackson[/caption] <ol> <li></li> </ol> <strong>4)</strong> <strong>Kennedy Davis may be the regions most improved player</strong>.  Kennedy started her career at North Point with a lot of potential and now we are seeing it manifest.  At 5'11" she stands amongst the tallest for the Eagles and has to lock down the interior defense.  Kennedy's game has expanded as she is now a perimeter threat capable of knocking down the long ball.  She scored 8 points in the game from the mid range and getting to the basket along with a game high 8 rebounds. &nbsp; [caption id="attachment_24815" align="alignnone" width="150"] Kennedy Davis[/caption] &nbsp; <strong>5) AC Choutedjemn is unsung but a key player. </strong> AC's bangs and bumps everyone in her path.  She finished with 6 boards to go with her 6 points but, it was the plays that didn't make the stat sheet that had the most impact especially on the defensive end. &nbsp; [caption id="attachment_24816" align="alignnone" width="150"] AC Choutedjem[/caption]
