LeMars
Despite having the third best scoring output, LeMars sits at 18-3. They have lost to both Bishop Heelan and Sergeant Bluff-Luton, but I think those were games that don't really make think that LeMars will lose to them again. They aren't the best scoring team but they share the ball really well and rarely turn it over, a combination that wins postseason games. Senior Madison Dreckman leads the region scoring 18.5 points per game.
The Sleeper
Bishop Heelan
Bishop Heelan is scoring 58.2 points a game and have made 99 3-pointers on the season. This is a team that is shooting 43.6 percent from the floor this year which is the second best in the region. They force a ton of turnovers as they have 238 steals which leads the region by 15. Ella Skinner, a junior, leads the squad scoring 18.2 points a game.
The Outside Shot
Sergeant Bluff-Luton
Sergeant Bluff-Luton has played both of the teams in front of them in the standings. They beat LeMars by one point, but they have lost twice to Bishop Heelan. Like I said earlier, I think that the win over LeMars was something that shouldn't happen again, but it very well could. Junior Kenzie Foley leads the team with 18.3 points a game, but is also pulling down a region leading 13.5 rebounds per game.
