Jenica Lewis îs a player that embodies what this article is all about. Coaches over the last four years HATED to see Jenica Lewis walk into the gym and onto the floor because of her ability to complete turn a game on its head. Whenever Lewis laced up you never knew how she was going to beat you but you just knew it was going to happen and she was going to be leading her team in one way or another. I'm hoping that at the next level opposing team's continue to say that about having to face off against Lewis. She is going to have to earn her respect once she gets there but it's definitely going to be fun to see how it all unfolds.

When you face off against Birmingham your entire effort as a team has to go into stopping her from producing on both ends on every single possession. That can take a lot out of you as an individual and as a team. Especially if your efforts aren't really working the best. If you are looking for a 6'0 PG that can attack, score, run offense, defend, and lead a team then you are looking for a prospect just like Birmingham. Someone that can change a contest on the drop of a dime. At the end of the day, she is going to be a D1 commit. Now it's just about finding out where at exactly.

Muller finished out her high school career with an impressive career at Dowling Catholic but now she is ready to make some waves with Missouri for the foreseeable future at the collegiate level. During the last four season this is someone that opposing coaches had to worry about. Her mixture of athletic ability, coordination, and length was second to none throughout the state of Iowa and she demonstrated that with notable stat lines over her career. This prospect has the ability to do the same thing moving into the future. As long as she learns her role within her team's system early on in her career, she should be an asset for the Tigers almost right away.

If you don't come prepare for the punishment that is the task of guarding Lillie Spicer than it's going to be a LONG day. The powerful PF/C has always done a great job of pushing her opponent under the basket whenever she is trying to make space on either block offensively. Over the last few seasons she has been able to keep up her production in the middle while stepping out to about 15FT and working from that area a little bit more. That's what you love to see. Steady progression as the individual becomes more experienced. Defensively, Spicer covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time and she is always watching on help-side to see if she might need to step up. This is a hooper that opposing coaches don't want to have to deal with. It usually takes more than one body being thrown at her to slow things down and that's never ideal in any coaching scenario.

Nobody wants to individually matchup against Jayla Williams in the open court. Williams closes spacial gaps quickly, her discipline to sit down in her stance helps her beat her matchup's to their spots going either direction, she has an act for getting her hands on the ball even against some of the Countries best handlers, and as soon as she smells blood - she is going to turn up the pressure and cause some chaos. I'd imagine that Williams is going to see time as a Freshman next season with the Bluejays because of her ability on the defensive side of the ball. She can make things happen out of no where and that's something you love to have on the floor with you when things get tough.
