Some teams have already gotten underway, but the majority don’t get underway until the calendar turns to April. These are individual looks into teams for this upcoming season. The first is a look at the Lady Martin Bros 2020 team coached by Mickey Hanshe.

Roster Breakdown
This is a vey diverse roster with a ton of different skill sets. You have a couple very solid point guards to run the show, but also some shooting wings with length. You would be hard pressed to find another team as talented as this one in the post. There are already a host of commits coming from this team as Emerson Green and Taryn Scheuermann are both committed to Northern Iowa. Sharon Goodman is committed to Iowa.
One to Watch
At the state tournament this year, I thought that Grace Boffeli had made huge strides from the beginning of the season. Now, she will look to keep it going as this is a big summer season for her. She’s a bit smaller than the other two posts, but will play a much different role. She’s very good with her back to the basket and should shine this season in that regard. I look for Boffeli to have a great season sandwiched in between the other two bigs.
Who Should be Watching
With three players off the board and a lot of talent left, this should be a team that grabs a lot of attention from college coaches. I imagine that we will be seeing a lot of the regional NAIA/DII teams coming into watch. During the live periods should have a few players garner the attention of low major and mid major programs around the area. This is a team that colleges will be keeping an eye on the entire summer.

Schedule Breakdown
I do like the schedule a lot even though they tend to stay pretty close to home. I think that those schools that are going to be recruiting them the hardest will show up at those Ames events and up into Wisconsin and Minnesota. This isn’t a team that has any of those players that are going to boost their stock up to a national level, but there should be a lot of regional college programs watching them. This schedule fits the travel schedule of coaches around the region.
