In this article we highlight five prospects from the states of Iowa and Nebraska, evaluating their play on the AAU floor up until this point. Each prospect is someone that has been a standout over the past month and that isn’t going to change anytime soon if they stay focused.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Carlile is putting together a noteworthy Spring so far with her All Iowa Attack program. Throughout the high school season she was a prospect that could be relied on in big moments even though she had some other impressive prospects on her team. This AAU season it’s more of the same. She is making the smart play and keeping things simple in the grand scheme of things. I think that her best ability is that she can score from all three levels but she doesn’t settle. She has displayed that she has a positive attitude, while being someone that can make a play or three down the stretch of a close game. I’m not sure where she is going to commit to at the end of her career but I do know that there are a few college coaches who are interested in her talents. If she stays on the track she is currently on and she wants to play basketball at the end of the day, she will have that option but we are still a year away from all of that so right now she will just focus on the season at hand.
Highlights
Reagan Baldwin Reagan Baldwin 6’0″ | C West Des Moines Valley | 2026 State IA is slowly coming into her own on the hardwood and that has been obvious this AAU season. Baldwin is a player that has some solid height and fundamental knowledge of the game of basketball. She is slowly growing her offensive arsenal, while also being a lock down defender in her own right. She does a great job of jumping to the basketball on the defensive end of things and that really stands out in each contest she plays. She is slowly demonstrating that she can step out and hit shots from the perimeter from deep but she is also someone that can score near the basket. If she keeps up with this type of expansion to her game, she is going to catch a lot of eyes over this next year. She is someone that seems really dedicated and in love with the game of basketball so it wouldn’t surprise me to see her in some sort of collegiate jersey once her high school career comes to an end at this point.
This AAU season Izzy Eisbach Izzy Eisbach 5’9″ | SG Nodaway Valley | 2026 State IA is new to the All Iowa Attack Program but she is showing everyone paying attention that she is just as good as everyone else on their roster. Eisbach is a star at her high school during the Winter but to come onto a national stage and compete at the same level is impressive. I would describe Eisbach’s play-style as being a smooth guard that can score a lot of buckets in a short amount of time. She even does some things that seem to surprise herself at times when she is out there competing. Defensively, she is someone that understands how to get into her opponent, making them uncomfortable whenever they are on or off of the ball. Eisbach is another prospect with college level talent. Right now I have her listed at the high D3 level or low D2 level depending on the program that would take a chance on her. If she continues to grow her game and locks up some things on both sides of the basketball, she could definitely move up from this original evaluation though. She is someone that could be the star of her team, no matter who she is lacing up with so we will just have to wait and see how things play out.

The Iowa Dream 17U Team is a group of prospects that will all have a chance to compete at the next level when things are said and done. One of their knock down shooters and more promising players up until this point is SG, Sydney Huber Sydney Huber 6’0″ | SG Mount Vernon | 2025 State IA of Mount Vernon High School. Huber has great length and size at 6’0, she has a fundamental shooting stroke from deep, and she is fantastic at using her size to her advantage against smaller opponents that she may matchup with. This AAU season Huber has been this team’s leading scorer in most contest. The main reason for that is because most of her shots come from behind the three point line but nevertheless. Over her high school career she has demonstrated that she is the real deal when letting it go from deep and she doesn’t take plays off on the defensive side of the ball. She already holds a few offers to compete at the next level but I think that list is going to grow. Especially once we get to the live period coming up this July.
The other killer from the Iowa Dream 17U Team that has been fantastic this AAU season in almost every contest in which they have played is PG, Lauren Walker Lauren Walker 5’9″ | PG Central DeWitt | 2025 State IA of Central DeWitt. Walker is someone that is very good at making a play for either herself of a fellow teammate. She is someone that can score with the best of them but more-so, she is very good at creating off of the dribble for those around her in any given moment. She maybe putting up big offensive numbers this Spring in the scoring department but that doesn’t take away from her ability to create and distribute. For any of her team’s to be at their best, Walker has to play consistent and fundamental basketball. She needs to take her opponent off the dribble, she needs to find openings for the other teammates, and she needs to make the right choices a majority of the time. All of these things, she has been excelling at the past few months and I hope she continues with this production moving into the future. It’s definitely something that is more than do-able at this point in the season from all of my accounts.
