Jacie Evans was named Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference (COAC) Player of The Year. Jacie is a quick combo guard that handles that ball well, great ability to slash to the goal, and finishes at a consistent rate around the basket. She uses her body well and has good foot work to allow her to have the advantage on the offensive and guard multiple type of players on the defensive end.

About Jacie Evans:
Jacie was inspired to play basketball due to her older brother. He played basketball and she wanted to be just like him. Therefore, at a young age her parents put her in the sport of basketball. As soon as Jacie began playing basketball, she instantly started to love the game. Jacie loves her competitiveness in the game which is seen through her energy on the court from her high motor and great basketball IQ just by looking at her face. When the All-City 1st Teamer gets in the gym to work on her game, she likes to work on shooting and dribbling moves. Jacie’s most favorite memory in basketball are all the times that she spent with her teammates in hotels and on the bus when the team traveled for games. The most memorable moment of the COAC Player of the Year in high was the game that her team won in order to advance to state. For her team, that was their #1 goal and they had accomplished that goal, the feeling is one to remember! Jacie’s future plans in basketball are to attend Harding University to play basketball.
