- Amelia Bell 6ft 4/5 Ofallon/St Louis Eagles. Amelia has become one of my favorite players to watch. Her stock has risen based on her constant effort and toughness. Amelia can make an impact on a game without ever being a focus on the offensive end for her team. She defends, she rebounds, she runs the floor and she gets the offensive boards for her team. Amelia has good post moves and range to 15 feet, but she does not need to score to make an impact. She has D1 interest and should end up at that level as teams see her mentality.
- Taylor Kesner 5’11 4 Highland/Blue Star. Taylor has been excellent in the offseason. I have seen her be very effective in the low post as teams have left her one on one. Her coaches have done an excellent job creating high low opportunities with Taylor and Bella LaPorta. Taylor is very strong and creates good position in the post. Once she catches it deep she will score consistently. Taylor also plays volleyball but if she chooses to pursue basketball she can definitely be a force at the NAIA/D3 level.
- Tyanna Lovelace 6ft 4/5 Ofallon/SW Jets. Tyanna is a strong post player that can dominate the boards. This year will be a breakout year for her as her minutes will increase drastically. She has had an excellent spring with the Jets including being named MVP in one of their tourneys. She should definitely be on the radar of D3/NAIA/Juco teams looking for a warrior down low.
- Tyler Butler 5’9 2/3 Belleville East/Evolution Elite. Tyler is capable of a double/double every game from her guard spot. She is is a good rebounder for her size and helps out the bigs to secure the defensive boards. Tyler had some big games as a Sophomore playing behind the well known class of 2019. This year she will have the opportunity to be more of a focal point for the Lady Lancers. She has prepared well by having a big spring with the Evolution Elite team.
- Tori Standefer 5’6 1/2 Civic Memorial/Phenom. Tori is returning from an ACL injury she suffered at the end of the July AAU season in 2018. She was known for her speed and quickness prior to her injury. Tori was extremely good on defense and running the floor. She had secured a spot in the starting lineup by the end of her freshman year for a strong CM team. Fast forward 11 months from her injury and she was back running with the CM team in June. I saw the same grit and toughness that was a part of her game before the injury. Tori was the same pesky defender that nobody wants to see guarding them. Just as you would expect, she is still working her way back to 100%, but you can see the speed and quickness still there. Tori is capable of being a great addition to a NAIA/D3 program. She also may be a candidate to take an extra year or two at the Juco level to continue the development she missed over the last year.
