Power 5 offers as a 2028 is no slight.. especially with the portal being so demanding. Nicholson is far beyond her age, and her talent level has sparked interest from some of the best college programs in the country.. and here’s why.
The length, the confidence, the swag, and the ability to do what she wants from where she wants. She can facilitate, she can score from every level and her length allows her to defend multiple positions. This kid hasn’t unlocked any of her potential yet.. and when she does.. it will be scary. She is the number 1 2028 in the state.
Highlights
Size is what most young players lack, and Brooklyn has that. She’s built tough and strong, and that comes in handy on the boards and on her second attempt. She can be effective from multiple levels, but it seems like most of her confidence is in the mid range area, and having that opens up more opportunities than most players understand. Excited to see her grow over the next couple of years.
Highlights
A ball hawk, and a ball magnet. Gulley is a pest on the defensive side of the ball, and she uses it to force the offensive player into what she wants. Offensively, there’s no drop off and if its not her getting to the rim, its her letting it loose form beyond the arc. She’s built like the new age point guard.. long, versatile and fearless. The vision is 20/20 as well. A special talent.
Highlights
Aggressive, confident and great foot speed. Jones has the package to be one of the top freshmen in the state. She has solid length for her size, and uses it to get to the rim in a small amount of dribbles. Her awareness and poise mixed with a slight tenacity is something that most players don’t develop till later in their highschool career.. she has it now. The kid just gets it done on both sides of the court. High potential.
The defense is what stands out immediately for Dzik, she knows how to track the ball and be patient to get the block or alter the shot, then comes her ability to understand how to be impactful in the flow of the game. On the offensive side of the ball, she can be a threat in the P&R, as well as on the block. She also shows the confidence to stretch the floor and make shots from 15ft out.
