This is a small point guard group that is solid at the top with Ava Hawthorne, Jada Williams, and Allie Meadows cracking into the top ten of the overall rankings. They form a very solid top three at the top of the position. After that, there is a lot of volatility from spots 3-10. Players like Emma Ingersoll-Weng and Amaya Davison are in that next tier in the state but players such as Brooke Loewe and Trinity Cheatom are right there neck and neck with them. Over the next few years I think we will see a lot of movement within the point guard group as players start to separate themselves.
A player to keep an eye outside the top ten is Kylie Rigby. She’s buried on a very talented Ballard roster, but has had a really solid AAU season thus far. She has a great motor and willingness to put her body on the line for her team. In fact, every lead guard on this list can either breakout or regress with many waiting in the wings to move on if a player slips up. This is going to be a key position in this group because there are as many as 10 potential D1 point guards in the class.
