There were two small forwards who made the 2022 top ten and we have known about Ryley Goebel and Reagan Barkema for a long while now. They have set themselves apart from the rest of the class as the two at the top. Meg Reitz and Brooke Woodyard are close behind them and could challenge them for a spot in the top ten. Reitz has really developed this summer and should be a player to key in on as someone who can make a big leap in the update this fall. Her being at #20 in the overall ranking goes to show just how deep this class is.
Outside of the top ten, a player to keep an eye on is Reagan Bartholomew. She’s a lengthy wing at Waukee and might fly under the radar this upcoming season because of how depthful and good Waukee is going to be. She is a legitimate prospect who has been playing very well this summer. Right behind her is Lainy Thoren who at Grundy Center will play a much bigger role with some key graduations. Look for her to put forth a big year as well this winter.
