Continue ReadingSaturday February 29 – Providence Day School was the host for the annual Private school Senior All – Star game – The rosters were made up of players that spanned across the entire State from Asheville to Wilmington i was able to attend the game which the West team won 78 – 64, I will identify some of the players that are still available to college coaches and can play at the next level.
- Hadiya Balser – The O’Neal School – 5’11” – Wing – Athletic, Skilled Wing prospects with unlimited range on her jumpshot, Can slash to the rim & finish in traffic. High volume scorer with High IQ & perimeter defensive ability.
- Aniyah VanHook – The Burlington School – 5’7” – Guard – Skilled combo guard that is very athletic, ability to get all the way to the rim and finish in traffic. Can score at all 3 levels and is a high level perimeter defender. Lefty with consistent mid-range and ability to stretch the floor.
- Levossie Taylor – North Raleigh Christian Academy – 5’11” – Forward – Athletic, Skilled player that has the ability to score on the interior with an array of moves, solid mid-range jumpshot. Developing guard skills and ability to attack the rim from anywhere on the floor, solid interior defender.
- Aileen Marquez – Rabun Gap – 5’7” – Guard – High IQ and good athlete, college ready frame and ability to get all the way to the rim & finish in traffic. Can operate as a lead guard or primary scorer, consistent 3-Pt range with great shot form.
- Nina-Simone Clark – Providence Day School – 5’6” – Guard – High IQ Guard that is very skilled and can really shoot the rock from all spots on the floor. Combo Guard that has great court vision and can lock up on the perimeter.
- Kennedy Grier – Charlotte Country Day School – 5’5” – Guard – Skilled, uptempo guard that loves to attack the rim but also has a soft touch for her floater and pull up. High IQ with great motor and defensive ability, Combo guard that can score at all 3 levels.
- Carolina Sikkink – Asheville Christian – 5’9” – Wing – Great frame and High IQ player that just plays hard on both ends of the floor. Can score the basket from all spots on the floor and will surprise you with her ability to defend on the perimeter and on the block against bigger players.
