Well you may not be able to see them, but I can definitely provide you with much insight to who they are in the Fayetteville NC area. Usually when all the exposure tournaments is going from Raleigh, Charlotte, and the Chiago, areas. Here in North Carolina many forget about all the talented players that are located right in Fayetteville NC and the surrounding areas.
Here are the top 10 players you should be recruiting and what there potential level of play is at the next collegiate level.

- Ashara Hayes
Nyla Cooper – Is a must have addition to any Mid major low major program. She posses the strong leadership traits and a competitive nature unlike many. Her skill set is perfect for many programs looking for a player to come in and do what she is ask to do. She is definitely a team first type of player. She has ability to guard the best player on the opposite team, hit the go ahead shot when the team needs it. Make the right pass to her teammate when they are open. The Junior combo guard brings so much to any program willing to take a chance on her. She is definitely a D1 prospect.
Desiree Smith – Smith is a player with tremondous upside and might just be a steal for a D2 or low major D1 program. She is a 5”10 athletic forward who is still developing. Any program will be please to have her quickness and energetic activity on the floor. With more skill development she will definitely shine at a D1 program suited for her.
Daija Turner – Turner is a must have interior player that many coaches would love to have. Potenially she is best suit at the Low/mid major D1 or D2 level. She will bring and great interior defense to a team. Turner has the ability to really alter the opponents shot from the paint area. Offensively she is suited to work on the block and high post area. Able to go over her left shoulder while pin opponents inside to take advantage of them. Her sweet quite deamonor can sometime give teams the wrong impression. She definitely has a tenacious competive edge to her once she set her feet on the court.
Ke’Onna Bryant – Byant is a blue collar work horse. She is the type of player that will do all the dirty work her teams need to be done. The Junior forward would definitely make a solid player at any low major D1 or D2 school. She has the potential to be a female Dennis Rodman like player at the next level. She was such a big part of the EE Smith Bulldogs run to the state title game. Her impact would be felt at any progam she played for.
TJ Eichelburger – The Junior guard is a tough player who was a huge part of her team success this year. She makes it difficult for opponents with her length and scrappy defense. She is a strong guard that can get tho the basket in traffic and on occassion knock down the three ball. She will fit best at a low major D1 or high level D2 school.
Jasmine Nolin – Nolin is a good fit for a program that is need of a player that can play on the wing and in the post. She showcases the ability to play tough against her opponents on the block, and she is be able to step out on the perimenter and knock down the open shot. She is a solid defender being able to guard the opponents perimeter players. Nolin would be a great fit at Low D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO program. Put her in the right system and she will definitely flourish.
Lavariah Armstead – The Trinity combo guard is coming off a solid junior season. Helping her team win the regular and tournament championship and making it to the final four of the state playoffs. Armstead is a clever guard who can switch back in forth from the point guard and shooting guard position. She is crafty with the ball allowing herself to get to the basket. Able to shoot the mid range and three ball off the dribble. She can guard some of the quickest guard 94 feet. She is definely a Mid major, low major and D2,D3 type of talent.
Lilly Robinson – Robinson a reliable inside force on the defensive side. Her 6″3 size cause problems for many oppents. She is able to finish over the left or right shoulder at the rim. She also can knock down a midrange jumpshot. Definitely can be a great addition to a JUCO,D3, NAIA program.
Iyanna Council – Just a straight work horse. She is a tough point guard with talent that still has not been unlocked all the way. Still developing but she definitely can run and offense. She is a verbal leader always talking and giving direction to her other teammates, even when out the ball in her hand. She pushes the ball in transition very well able to find the open player with a pass that will have you jumping out of your sits. This energetic pg is what a lot programs would definitely want to add. She is definitely a D2, D3, or NAIA player.
Ashara Hayes – When watching Hayes you will definitely say to yourself, that she is a D1 player. The 6″2 long athletic forward will be a steal for a mid to low major D1 program. She can push the ball when need be, knock down the midrange jump shot, step behind the arc and drill the three. Ashara also can bang down in the inside with some of the best. She gives off a energized feeling with her verbal encoragement to her team. She will definitely be a great additon to any program.
