When you get out to the eastern portion of North Carolina Team 252 is one of the teams that have been putting young ladies in college very consistently. This season they have a couple of strong teams in their High School groups that we will take a look at, we start with the Top age group team.
Mirachell Maher – 2021 – 5’11” – Forward – Pamlico County High School – Strong interior scorer with the ability to stretch her scoring to the mid-range area, can rebound in her area and pass out of the post. Has been a part of some very successful teams in her high school career, High IQ player that will be an asset at the collegiate level.
Shaylin Pollock – 2021 – 5’9” – Forward – Southwest onslow High School – Skilled player that can score inside & on the perimeter, has strong shooting form and range to 3-Pt line. High motor and ability to clean the glass, finishes in traffic. Strong perimeter defender that is a High IQ player that is an asset on the floor.
Anisa Lewis – 2021 – 5’9 “ – Guard – Heidi Trask High School – High motor player that is very versatile on the court, she is a tremendous defender that can lock players up on the perimeter. Can score it at all 3 levels but is a slasher that can finish in traffic, great attitude and teammate.
Kanyah O’Neal – 2023 – 5’8” – Guard – Southside High School – Lead guard with a high IQ and has some swagger to her game, outstanding ball handler with great vision and passing ability. Can operate on the wing to attack the rim and be more of a scorer with strong shooting form and range to 3-Pt line, strong defensive ability and leadership skills..
Keshiya Rhodes – 2024 – 5’6” – Guard – Riverside Middle School – Athletic, highly skilled player that can operate as the lead guard and run the team but also can fill it up. Strong ball handler that can get to the rim and also shoot it consistently from distance to compliment her solid mid-range shooting ability, floater game and engaged defender..
Janeja Perry – 2021 – 5’7” – Guard – Washington County High School – Athletic combo guard that is a strong perimeter defender and can guard multiple positions on the court. High motor and ability to score in the Mid-range consistently from the jump shot or driving it all the way to the rim.
