The latest PGH Ohio Class of 2021 player rankings have been updated and there are several players who have seen their stock rise from the last update done in October. The rankings have expanded to the Top 40 in the 2021 class followed by a very impressive talented Watch List.
Over the next few days, we will take a look at the players who saw their stock rise since the last rankings.
Here are 5 players who have seen their stock rise from the last rankings back in October.
[player_tooltip player_id="91138" first="Kaia" last="Woods"], 5-2 Hopewell Loudon
Incredibly quick, can rip by her defender and score. Great handles, and very quick with her dribble. Her ball control is very strong, and she can get to the rim and score against most defenders. Loves the north-south game in transition, can make things happen and finish with either hand at the rim. Such a high motor and always flying around the court creating havoc. Love her crossover. Kaia moves up in the latest rankings, moving from the Watch List all the way to #29.
[player_tooltip player_id="91091" first="Chloe" last="Crawford"], 5-6 Toledo Central Catholic
This young lady as I stated earlier this season, can score from anywhere. She is an outstanding perimeter shooter, and can break open a game with her consistent shooting from behind the arc. She has a quick release. Also has the ability to score from midrange, and if that is not there, she will score at the rim and can score in many ways. Very good basketball IQ. Like Kaia, it is a move up the rankings from the October update, as she enters at #30 from the Watch List last season.
[player_tooltip player_id="91121" first="Jordan" last="Rogers"], 5-9 Franklin
Her stock continues to rise every time I see her. She is a very prolific scorer off the dribble or the pass. Jordan (pictured above/courtesy of Rogers) can fill it up from the three, put the ball on the floor and score at the rim. Smooth handles, quick hands and creates turnovers which leads to good transition chances with her great court vision. Coaches will love her game, playing with Team Ohio this summer if they get back on the court. Jordan moves up to #31 on the latest update after being on the Watch List back in October.
[player_tooltip player_id="159039" first="Dana" last="Rose"], 6-0 Fort Loramie
She was the Player of the Year in the Shelby County League, and the leader for the unbeaten Fort Loramie Redskins. Long athletic guard who can score in multiple ways. Great footwork in the perimeter, able to score against a post, or step out and play the guard spot as good as anyone and score from the outside. Great hands, intelligent player who is a tremendous team player. Athletic and just knows how to win. Dana enters the rankings at #32 after not being in the previous update. She had an incredible season!
[player_tooltip player_id="91130" first="Macee" last="Stringfellow"], 6-0 Perrysburg
Long athletic wing who can score in all three phases. Smart player who is a key leader on the floor, moves well without the ball and gets solid position for easy scoring chances. Good footwork and able to defend, alter shots and rebound. Good floor general, and can lead the transition game.
