#1 – Nyla Cooper– 5”7 PG – Jack Britt

Cooper has showcase to be very season skill player her ability to handle the ball, shoot the deep three and find her teammates makes her such Triple threat. Cooper holds the number one spot not just cause of her basketball skill set but because they way she leads on and off the floor. Cooper plays with so much emotion and passion, that you can tell by how she plays that she cares about each game she plays. This is the reasons why she was able to lead her team to a regular season and tournament championship. She is definitely D1 program material.
#2 – Keonna Bryant – 5’11 F – EE SMITH
Bryant comes in at the #2 spot. The all purpose forward is a lot to handle on the court. She just doesn’t do one thing great. She does a lot of little things good making it difficult to contain her. Bryant is a handful when in comes to guarding her in the post she is strong and an excellent rebounder. Opponents usually have to keep there eyes out for her or she will sneak up and take over game with her offensive rebounding and tenacious defense. Bryant will be a solid lock to play at the next level.
#3 – Ashra Hayes– 5”11– F– Jack Britt
Hayes is one those players when you see her on the court she stands out. Her 5”11 long frame is perfect for the next level. Hayes has the ability to handle the ball, shoot the jump shot. Play in the post, grab boards, guard the toughest opponent on the other team. She has the potential to become the top player with all of those in her tool bag. The All conference player also help her team to win the conference and tournament championship this past season.
#4 – Montasia Jones– 5’6 G – Pine Forest
Jones just plays hard on both ends of the floor. She plays with a defensive mentality ready to locked down any opponent she is assigned to. Getting most of her points of steals and in transition the Pine Forest Guard is definitely a talented player and will be even tougher once she improves her shooting a little more. Definitely a college prospect.
#5 Daija Turner – 6’3 – C – Villiage Christian – Turner is definitely a top 3 player in her class in the city of Fayetteville. She showcase her talents this season very well. The junior center recorded the most blocks in North Carolina single season history. She also collected the most rebounds in the stat this season. Turner a smart high IQ post player able to stay on her feet to alter shots keeping her from getting in to foul trouble is definitely a player that can play at the next levl.
#6 – Lavariah Armstead – 5”6 PG – Trinity Christian
Armstead is an excellent three point shooter. She can single handedly get her team back in games with her shooting ability. Armstead continuesly shown the ability to handle the ball in traffic and she can finish in the lane over bigger defenders. She was selected to the All Conference team. Leading her team to a regular and tournment title. She continues to improve year by year showcasing her ability to play at the next level. She is a solid point guard in the Fayetteville area.
#7 – Desiree Smith– 6”0 F– Trinity Christian
Smith has the ability to score the ball inside the post area at a high rate. Smith is also a defensive minded player who is tough and scrappy able to guard perimeter players with her length and athleticism. During the season she shown the ability to get to the rim and score. She is continuing to work on her jump shot and getting her foot work down better. Smith has so much potential to be really expand her game and develop into a stronger prospect in her senior year.
#8 – Amber Nealy – 5’7 SG – Jack Britt
Nealy has continued to improve all facets of the game and like many of these players can play only get better as time goes on. Her ability play hard defense is a big contributer for her team. She continues to improve her ball handlings skills. Nealy also has a nice touch from the three point range. As she continue to become more of an dynamic guard, she will have a break out senior year is only scary to think about how good she really could be.
#9 Da’ja Robinson – 5’6 G – Douglas Byrd
Robinson a fierce combo guard that has the ability to get to the rim and finish or draw the foul. She impressive with her hard work ethic anytime she steps on the court. The combo guard can take the outside shot with no issues plays tough man to man defense hounding her opponent for most of the game. Her will to win is unmatched at times. One the top three scores in the county last season Robinson will be prime for a strong senior season. With already offers from Methodist University, and Livingston University Robinson will be looking to raise her stock.
#10 – Jasmon Nolin– 5’10 F – Northwood Temple – Honorable mention
The Sand Hills All Conference player is a feisty hard worker on the court. Nolin lead a rebuilding Northwood Temple team this season in scoring and rebounding. She was put into a position where she had to showcase her tenacious ability to get to the rim. She display her shooting range by knocking down the three when her team needs it. She is the type of player that will do what every her team needs. Rebounding the ball on the defensive and offensive end, taking on and guarding the best player on the opponents team. Nolin looks prime to have a big senior year as she only get better and better. She is definitely a player that college coaches should check out.
