Zaria Clark: The 5’9 guard from Gaston Day high school could be dubbed the “triple-double queen”, the girl can flat out score, rebound, dish it out, or just take it from her opponents. She tallied 6 on the season. She is a high volume scorer, but at an efficient rate, she takes her shots, but knows when to get it to the open teammate. She is fast with the ball in her hands and gets downhill quick. On defense she is long and active and makes multiple plays throughout the game that she converts into easy buckets on the other end. She plays AAU for the Team Curry organization.
Jael Hall: The 5’7 point guard from Concord First Assembly Academy uses her size and athleticism to get into the paint and score. The lefty pushes the tempo and gets into the paint and scores over or around defenders. She can take the contact and and finish and get to the line. For her position she is an above average rebounder, and she takes the defensive rebound and pushes to get 2 points on the other end. Defensively she is going to take it from her opponents, she has a niche to make plays. She plays AAU for the Charlotte Flames organization.
Emily Walters: The 5’7 shooting guard from Metrolina Christian Academy is a 3 sport athlete, but on the basketball court is a knock down shooter. When she gets her feet set, she has a quick release and has good consistency from deep. Outside of their season opener, she knocked down a 3 in every game this last season. She plays much bigger than 5’7, her length makes her more like 5’9. She makes play due to her length, and IQ on the defensive side of the ball.
Zykia Benjamin: The 5’10 small forward from Concord First Assembly Academy has her fingerprints all over every game she is in. She had 7 double-double’s this last season, had at least 1 steal in every game, and is another great passer in this conference. She does not have range from downtown, she may knock down a few, but not at a consistent rate.
Kaylan Daniels: The 5’6 point guard from Concord First Assembly Academy makes this list along with her teammates due to her consistent play throughout the season. She does a little bit of everything throughout the game, but not in a flashy manner. She can score it and knock down the 3, she will go and grab rebounds, she hits her teammates so they can get theirs, and she is a good defender. She is consistent across the board with her play. She plays AAU for the Charlotte Flames organization.
Raegan Dickens: The 6’0 power forward from Concord First Assembly Academy is another nice piece to the studded class of 2021. She had multiple double-doubles this last season, but more than that, she had multiple games with double-digit rebounding–9. She had 5 games with 4+ blocked shots. She can be a very good player at the next level. She does not shoot it consistent enough from 3, but with another year of playing she has time to lock in and become more consistent.
