Class of 2021 Standouts for the 2020-21 Season

Despite there being many looming questions and concerns in regards to the 2020-21 basketball season due to the ever prevalent Covid-19; the graduating class of 2021 still has notable, as well as valuable players that are itching to leave a lasting mark for their respective programs. Check out some of those players below! <div></div> <div>1. [player_tooltip player_id="86070" first="Parker" last="Hill"] - Post, Winston Churchill</div> <div></div> <div>     Standing at 6’3 with a verbal commitment to Princeton University, Hill will look to continue the momentum she has maintained over the last few years. She has the ability to protect rim and paint on the defensive end; while being able to to stretch the floor and become an agile scorer offensively! Hill is a 2-way threat that most programs will have to focus their game plans on.</div> <div></div> <div>2. [player_tooltip player_id="136403" first="Jayla" last="Oden"] - Point Guard, McDonogh</div> <div></div> <div>     Oden has proven to be a formidable Point Guard for McDonogh’s program; who is looking to take her talents to Illinois following her senior campaign. She is the type of floor general that is able to create plays for herself and others, isn’t afraid to attack the defense &amp; score in traffic. Oden also is fully capable of scoring both from mid range and behind the arc, which forces her defenders to pick their poison when going against her.</div> <div></div> <div>3. [player_tooltip player_id="136415" first="Bianca" last="Pendleton"] - Forward, Bullis School</div> <div></div> <div>     This season is likely to be very important for Pendleton, who has yet to declare where she’ll attend college; so expect this season to one lasting showcase of her talents for colleges and universities. What those programs should expect to see is a player who is able to control the paint on the both ends of the floor! Pendleton has proven to be a defender stopper, an aggressive rebounder &amp; has the ability to score efficiently on the inside.</div> <div></div> <div>4. [player_tooltip player_id="51137" first="Kayla" last="Thomas"] - Post, Riverdale Baptist</div> <div></div> <div>    Having verbally committed to Penn State, Thomas will most likely leave Riverdale Baptist in the same fashion she came in. Thomas has shown to be an effective, and traditional back to the post type of player. Along with that capability, Thomas has been able to dictate the paint in ways that can decide what team wins that particular game. Look for Thomas to keep applying pressure in the paint this season!</div> <div></div>
