HONORABLE MENTIONS
AJ Ediger AJ Ediger 6'3" | PF Hamilton | 2021 State #54 Nation MI (2021, PF, Hamilton, West Michigan Drive 2021)’
Ediger was a consistent force for the West Michigan Drive las weekend. She was constantly at or near a double-double in points and rebounds.
Damiya Hagemann Damiya Hagemann 5'8" | PG Detroit Edison | 2021 State #35 Nation MI (2021, Detroit Edison, Michigan Crossover 17u)
Hagemann continued to show why she should be considered a top 20 prospect nationally. She sees open space on the floor before it’s even open. Hagemann will hit her teammates in stride cutting to the basket.
Madisyn Tillman Madisyn Tillman 6'3" | C East Kentwood | 2021 State MI (2021, C, East Kentwood, Michigan Crossover 17u)
Tillman has always had a ton of potential. We are in the midst of watching her put it all together. She looks more confident in her footwork, while still banging and owning the paint. Sky is the limit for Tillman from here on out.
Hannah Vallier Hannah Vallier PG Vicksburg | 2021 State MI (2021, PG, Vicksburg, Strictly Skills 17u)
Vallier showed why she should be an intriguing prospect for some next level coaches. She’s a solid floor general, but can also shoot and get buckets. She dropped 24 in a game for Strictly Skills over the weekend.
Abby Williams (2021, PF, Homeschool, Michigan Mystics 2021)
College coaches can’t let her float under the radar. Williams is efficient as they come and was at or near the top of her team in rebounds, steals, blocks, and assists.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kailee Davis Kailee Davis 5'4" | PG Detroit Renaissance | 2021 State MI (2021, PG, Detroit Renaissance, Michigan Crossover)
Davis is showing the grassroots world that she should be considered 1 of the upper echelon lead guards in the midwest. It all starts on the defensive end. Davis can guard the entire length of the floor. She uses her horizontal quickness to cause fits for an opponent trying to advance the ball. That same lateral hip movement makes her difficult to contain on offense as well. Davis hit a clutch bucket at the buzzer last weekend to give Michigan Crossover a big victory.
