Reagan Iovino: The 5’3 combo guard from Cuthbertson high school might be small but do not let her size get to you! She knocked down 80 3’s in 28 games played this season (43% from the floor). She can catch fire, because in a 3 game stretch this season she went: 6 for 9, 5 for 9, 6 for 10…oh and in 1 of those games she did it in 11 minutes played! She was selected to the “Talking Preps All-Freshman” team at the end of the season. She is a feisty hard worker. She plays AAU for the Lady Attack organization.
Zahra Douglas: The 5’10 forward from Marvin Ridge high school had a breakout freshman season. Averaging almost 10 points and 5 rebounds per game, moving forward her potential is going to continue to grow. She led the team in scoring in a handful of games this last season, and rebounding. She has hit a game winning shot as a freshman, the big stage does not bother her. She will be fun to watch for the next 3 seasons.
Dynastee Parker: The 5’6 guard from Monroe high school is a feisty and hard working player. She is a kid who stuffs the stat sheet. With almost 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals and assists per game, she does what it takes to help her team win games. She is best at getting to the free throw line where she attempted over 140 free throws this last season. She came extremely close to recording her first triple-double of her career, but I have a feeling over the next 3 seasons we will be seeing that happen.
Jade Washington: The 5’5 guard from Parkwood high school nearly averaged a double-double as a freshman with 8 points and 8 rebounds per game. She has a very smooth shot, being able to knock down the 3, and mid-range. She gets downhill and uses build to bully her way into the paint. Another player who got to the free throw line 140 times, she finds ways to score. She is crafty and hard nosed. She will be another fun player to keep an eye on for the next 3 seasons.
