Kendall Roess | Providence | G
Kendall is a very coachable and adaptable guard who makes smart decisions, especially when it comes to making cuts in order to score for her team. She also controls the ball well and always looks to get her teammates involved. She has a great shot outside, and she isn’t scared to crash the boards grabbing rebounds herself. Kendall runs the floor very well with and without the ball pushing for fast breaks and quick transition points. As a young player, she already shows great leadership skills, and this will certainly translate well to her high school career as an upperclassman.
Megan Seymour | Bradford Preparatory | SF/PF
Megan is certainly a strong forward who shows aggressive moves on offense. She is persistent at scoring inside against anyone who tries to guard her. Even with arms swatting all around her, she is strong with the ball. She is constantly adjusting her position to make sure she can get the incoming pass and make a move to score. She contributes to rebounds as well for her team. As a forward, she knows how to run the floor really well helping with the transition offense. She also has a good midrange jump shot showing that she can be a threat from many areas of the court.
Haley Seymour | Bradford Preparatory | SG/SF
Haley showed that she can certainly play both guard and forward positions. She had a great drive to a reverse layup showing she can get by players trying to guard her. She is quick and makes smart cuts to help get open in order to show off her shot. She also showed some great post moves inside making her a talented all around player. Haley runs the floor well controlling the ball when she needs to and makes herself available for the pass to finish the transition. She will continue to show great progress in her last few years in high school.
McKenzie Morris | East Mecklenburg | PG/SG
McKenzie is a quick guard who has a smooth stroke from all over the court including behind the three point line. One of her strengths on display was her ability to fake and drive around other guards, and she could finish with a jump shot or take it all the way to the hoop. She was aggressive on defense as well contributing stops for her team to gain possession back. With East Mecklenburg losing a couple of senior guards this year, McKenzie will get her chance to show off her skills in a leadership role next season.
