The event was being held at the Upward Star Center which features 6 courts. Lets take a look at some 2025 Palmetto State players who might want to get yourself recognized with in the years to come.
Tamia Watkins Tamia Watkins 6'2" | PF Andrew Jackson | 2025 State SC – Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw) – Few 360-2024
Watkins saw plenty of minutes last season as a 7th grader for the Lady Volunteers. Watkins a left-handed forward feels very comfortable playing face-up to the basket and has great hands. Watkins has a nice jump-hook to go with her skill level. Watkins buried a few short corner jumpers. Watkins used a few drop-step moves down low to get by defenders. Watkins is for sure one of the top players in the 2025 class moving forward in the Palmetto State.
Skyla Tuthill Skyla Tuthill 5'11" | SG Winston-Salem Christian National | 2025 State NC – Home School – Hoopaville
Tuthill has a great feel for the game at such a young age. Tuthill a good size wing has a great skill set already for her age. Tuthill is crafty with the ball and has a good feel for the game. Tuthill was able to knockdown some shots on the perimeter and always seemed to be around the ball with her court awareness. Tuthill informed Prep Girls Hoops that she will home school this coming season. Tuthill lives in the Fort Mill area.
Zhykera Brown Zhykera Brown 5'9" | CG Legacy Early College | 2025 State SC – Legacy Early College – Lady Team South Carolina
Brown played last season on the varsity at Wade Hampton HS (Greenville). Brown was a great spark off the bench today for the Lady Team South Carolina as she knocked down some late jumpers in the game.
Morgan Champion Morgan Champion 5'6" | CG Camden | 2025 State SC – Camden HS – Few 360-2024
Champion saw plenty of action last season for the Lady Bulldogs. Champion has the honor to run with Joyce Edwards Joyce Edwards 6'3" | PF Camden | 2024 State SC (2024) the top player in her class with Few 360-2024 and also at the high school level. Champion averaged 6.3 ppg last season for the Lady Bulldogs (24-5). Champion a combo guard seems to play better off the ball. Champion has the ability to knockdown some open jumpers on the perimeter.
Breah Franks Breah Franks 6'3" | C J.L. Mann | 2025 State SC (2025) – Mauldin M.S. – Team F.O.K.U.S 2023
Franks a left-handed post player is handful inside the paint. Franks finished around the basket with a few nice jump hooks today. Franks will be a name to remember for the Lady Mavericks down the road.
