Here is a recap of some of the players’ performances at Carolina Jamfest in Columbia, South Carolina.
Sam Meyers seemed to put on a shooting clinic hitting three-pointers from all over the court. She was four for nine from behind the arc over two games. She was very aggressive on defense, too, making her an asset on both ends of the court.
Delanie Hill continues to shine as point guard. She controls the tempo and serves as a good leader for her teammates. She comes close to getting double-doubles in most games with making shots herself or setting up her teammates for the score with her assists.
Another player coming close to getting double-doubles consistently is Chloe Moss. Moss is a very strong player inside being aggressive with the ball and fighting for rebounds. She shows great footwork when getting into position and moves fluidly with the ball in full control.
Kate McArdle is a versatile player who knows how to play and guard all five positions on the court. She is a very strong scorer and follows each shot grabbing rebounds for her team. She is a lockdown defender as well making it difficult for other teams to score around her.
