Braylyn Milton was the leading scorer for both sides with 14 points. The Cincinnati commit was very dynamic in the competition scoring from all over the court. She knows how to drive inside the lane against opponents. She has a nice hesitation move that she uses to blow by defenders. Her spin moves that turn into jump shots are very difficult to defend. She even moved inside to show off some post moves to help her team stay in the game.
Trinity Adams was the next leading scorer for 1Dream with 11 points. She was aggressive with the ball driving in the lane and fought through contact. She was a great ball handler, too, no matter who was guarding her. Showing off her speed, she was always one of the first ones back on defense preventing the other team from getting a lot of fast break points. She even had a block in the game using her length to her full advantage.
Averie Dibenedetto added 7 points. This is a guard more coaches need to pay attention to because she knows how to push the ball up the court. She has a great vision when handling the ball and knows how to make the best passes into her teammates. She is also a great shooter, and she even hit a buzzer beating three pointer at the end of the game. On defense, she hustles more than most athletes her age making her a tenacious defender. She strips the ball from guards and jumps into passing lanes when offenses are trying to find their rhythm.
Emma Larios (2023) was the leading scorer for Team Carolina with 11 points. She was a a very dynamic guard who created havoc on defense turning steals into fast break points multiple times. She is very quick and hard to catch up with. She handled the ball the majority of the time, and she was fast with it, but she also knew where and how to move without the ball finding the open areas. She dribbled against touch contact creating points for herself. She is certainly someone to keep your eye on, especially since she already has interests from Furman, Wofford, University of North Carolina at Asheville, High Point, and Chattanooga.
Mazie Helpman (2022) added another 8 points for Team Carolina. She was fast on offense, especially when it came to scoring in transition. She knew how to move well without the ball making her way to the open passing lanes. She had several nice cuts that led to easy points for her. Helpman drove the ball against contact as well turning into chances for her to make some points from the free throw line. On fast breaks, she knew when to make her best move with the ball in order to create space from her defender and complete the transition points. She has interest from Queens University.
Adding 7 points was Katie Alexander (2023). Coaches who want someone who is always in the right position definitely should watch her play. She was moving well without the ball, and when she got a chance with the ball it seemed like it turned into points for her team whether she found her open teammate, or she was taking the shot herself. She was a phenomenal teammate always encouraging her fellow players and the first one to congratulate them on doing something positive.
Gracie Glance (2021) added 6 points. Glance has some great height that she uses to cause problems on defense for opponents. She also showed off her shot from behind the arc with two three pointers. She has interest from Western Carolina.
