Continue ReadingTruitt Reilly Truitt Reilly 6'1" | PF Silverton | 2021 State OR 2021 6’0” PF NW Stars/Silverton HS – Truitt is amongst the Stars’ defensive identity, as she brings an incredibly blue collar approach with a lot of effort and physicality inside. She fought for loose balls and is a versatile defender that can defender along the perimeter as well as within the paint. Showed some nice movement within the paint showcasing patented shot within the paint that she likes after she pivots to her right side. Scored 4 points in her time back after missing their last scrimmage.
Allie Mead Allie Mead SG Canby | 2023 State OR 2023 5’5″ PG NW Stars/Canby HS – Allie’s biggest contributions were those that go largely unnoticed if you only pay attention to stats, as she filled out the finer details in the Stars’ backcourt. She is constantly pressing the issue on the defensive side of things and offensively, she is picking up the tempo and setting up the transition and half-court set. A player that is always in the right positions and setting her team up for success as she had another refined day playing with her high motor.
Rhyan Mogel Rhyan Mogel 5'10" | SF Clackamas | 2023 State OR 2023 5’9” SF NW Stars/Clackamas HS – Had a masterful display of offense, as she had 12 points in the first half alone and she has totaled 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals for the game. She doesn’t wait for the defense to react with her slashing tendencies to the rim, displaying a soft touch in the paint, and isn’t afraid to create contact with her body. She showed the ability to score from either shoulder and has a good touch at the free throw line. Also played the point forward at times, as she can orchestrate a team in the transition setting.
Kennedie Shuler Kennedie Shuler 5'10" | PG Sam Barlow | 2023 State OR 2023 5’9” PG NW Stars/Barlow HS – Kennedie started alongside Allie Mead Allie Mead SG Canby | 2023 State OR in the backcourt, creating an incredibly speedy and skill proficient duo that was hard for the opposition to deal with. She showed her shiftiness and slick handle on the ball as well as lights out shot from the perimeter. Kennedie was a determined defender who did it with her quick lateral movement and overall athletic ability. Finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds in a nice offensive display, as she showed her ability to strive in the isolation situation, as she has a quick first step and a grit to get to the rim.
Jazzy Davidson 2025 6’1” SF NW Stars – She is an incredibly lengthy and skilled player who showed off her offensive versatility. Has a long stride that she uses to run the court, as she is dangerous in the transition setting. Half court she is a difficult match-up, as her fluidity combined with length is hard to match, however, her smooth touch comes in handy especially at awkward angles. Had 12 points and 2 steals in a great offensive showing in which she was incredibly efficient and showed the ability to put the ball in the basket in many ways.
Carly Robb 2021 5’8” SG NW Stars/West Albany HS – Although her shot wasn’t going down, she found ways to contribute as she continued to work on the other cornerstones of her game. Carly is a capable rebounder with her solid frame and she has great timing on the ball and on the perimeter she knows how to flip the ball to open teammates for scores. Defensively she was engaged as she is also an underrated rim protector. Finished with 4 points, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.
Mia Skoro 2022 5’8” SG NW Stars/La Salle HS – Mia served as a defensively active player who pushed the pace when the ball was in her hands. She is a superior rebounder whose competitive spirit is engaged as part of her game is scrapping for rebounds and loose balls, gaining possessions for her team. She was amongst their most active on-ball defenders who thrives in the half-court setting as her speed and diligence do not go unnoticed. Had 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.
