She showed off a good stroke from outside, knocking down multiple 3s from all around the arc while showing she’s got the quick catch and shoot as well as the ability to put it on the floor and create some space. Blachly also had some nice moments passing the rock including a big skip pass from the corner to the top for an assist. She felt the trap coming her way and quickly slung the ball on target to her teammate for an open trey ball. She has good feel out there, demonstrated she can handle some pressure in the backcourt and play capably at either guard spot.

An interesting forward with good height who stands tall in the paint to contest shots without fouling and makes offensive players take tough shots over her height. What really makes her an intriguing prospect is her ability to knock down the set shots. She worked her way to the line, sunk the freebies with ease, and then stepped out a little further to bury some corner 3s. She didn’t look to be super agile yet but had a good feel for the game and was able to make some nice extra passes from the high post and perimeter, as well as defend passes on the other end with her long reach. She’ll be a younger player to watch who should continue to get more athletic as time goes on.
Just a lightning rod on both ends of the court, Uusitalo made more than a few tough buckets look pretty easy and showed equally strong game from behind the arc as well as inside the paint. She has a soft touch from multiple ranges and can get to her spots with some quick moves (crosses, step-backs, spins) and is smooth from the gather into the shot. She was breaking down defenders all day off the bounce and seems to play with boundless energy.

She showed good touch off the dribble to sink shots in the paint, mixing in floaters and some tough contact finishes through the defense. The junior guard also spotted up for a couple of makes from downtown and was one of the more threatening scorers for her side. She was pretty aggressive with her touches but didn’t force too much. Sears averaged 8.8 ppg last season at Bethel and looks like she could up that number next winter.
Timmons is a tall, fluid forward who can get close to double-double numbers with her work inside. She averaged 8.2 ppg and 5.6 rpg with West Seattle last season but she really shows the potential to play away from the hoop too. There were multiple instances of her stopping on a dime with the ball, changing direction well, and she has the athleticism to be a pretty dynamic player with the ball.
She’s a tall guard with long strides and a little bit of wiggle who got downhill and to the cup with some regularity. She showed she can burst by defenders or play through some contact and finish either way. She pressed the issue inside to instigate some action and flow within the offense with the outcome usually being a bucket or a trip to the line where she was able to capitalize on her free throw attempts.

The lefty shooter with a solid stroke from behind the arc was one of the top performers I saw. She has a smooth shot, quick reactions, good court vision, and really made it all look pretty easy out there. There’s just a smoothness and natural look to her game as she impacted the game on both ends of the court. Knocking down shots, making the right play passing the ball, and staying active defensively to occupy passing lanes and hound dribblers.
