Continue ReadingSchuyler Berry Schuyler Berry 6'2" | C Grant | 2021 State OR 2021 6’2” C Oregon Elite/Grant HS – Schuyler is more of the traditional post blend, who makes it her job to park in the paint and make it difficult for the opposition to score. She alters shots if she doesn’t get a piece of them as she also displays good discipline as a defender. Berry is a high IQ player who can also make the right passes and overall plays for her team. Has a good frame which she uses to score inside and she uses her frame to rebound as well.
Emilia Bishop Emilia Bishop 6'1" | PF Wilsonville | 2021 State OR 2021 6’1” PF Oregon Elite/Wilsonville HS – Emilia is a more versatile forward who brings unique skills to Navy as one who brings some perimeter skills to the table. Her size and activeness in the paint allow for rebounds and blocked shots as she shows a lot of defensive awareness. She scores inside using her body and soft touch, but she can also push the tempo by taking the ball up the court or throwing the ball via an outlet pass as well.
Leah Doutt Leah Doutt 5'8" | PG McNary | 2021 State OR 2021 5’6” PG Oregon Elite/McNary HS – Is Oregon Elite Navy’s biggest threat from the perimeter as she routinely hit three-pointers in stride, waiting for her turn alongside the perimeter. Doutt scored 20 points in two games, showing that she is a serious offensive threat, one of much consistency at that rate. Doutt is also a defensive presence, as in one game she had four steals, as she is incredibly active in the backcourt who can turn into transition at a second’s glance.
Cami Fulcher Cami Fulcher 5'8" | PG West Linn | 2021 State OR 2021 5’8” SG Oregon Elite/West Linn HS – Cami is a guard who plays tough every possession, as she has a high motor combined with her overall savviness and ruggedness. She is a capable rebounder who isn’t afraid to mix it up with others, as in one game she had 4 points and 5 rebounds. In another contest, she tallied 4 points and 4 assists, as she asserted that she is capable of finding teammates for scores when they need it. She has been a high note in their backcourt.
Dani Starr Dani Starr 6'1" | SG Sheldon | 2022 State OR 2022 6’1” SG Oregon Elite/Sheldon HS – Danika brings a lot of offensive versatility in a player that can score inside and out. Danika has perhaps the most refined mid-range game out of this group, as she is automatic from that area in her game and she can mix it up inside the paint as well. Scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in her second outing, as she showed her overall consistency and ability to score all over the court.
Natalie Lathrop Natalie Lathrop 6'3" | C Tualatin | 2021 State OR 2021 6’3” C Oregon Elite/Tualatin HS – Lathrop brings a lot of stability and consistency for the Navy in the paint as a forward who can get vertical, with her long wingspan to get rebounds on both ends over other players. In the paint, she finds ways to contribute, as she has a soft touch inside the paint. In one game, she had 8 points and 9 rebounds as she was a key cog in their victory. She also defends the paint well and gets blocks by just putting her hands up.
Maya Hoff Maya Hoff 6'1" | PG Southridge | 2021 State OR 2021 6’1” SG Oregon Elite/Southridge HS – Maya has shown to be a utility player for this group, who does a little bit of everything for her team. She has been able to help as a passer on the wing, as she has the ability to look over defenders with her height and make excellent passes that are both timely and accurate. She is an excellent overall piece that defends and can find ways to stroke herself. Contributed 3 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in her first game.
Ana McClave Ana McClave 5'10" | SG Crescent Valley | 2021 State OR 2021 5’10” SG Oregon Elite/Crescent Valley HS – Ana is a guard who finds a lot of ways to contribute overall, particularly in the scoring region when she is on the floor. When the ball is in her hands, she can hit it from deep as well as take it to the rim. She plays with a certain flare on the offensive end, as on one play she got the offensive rebound and was fouled at the rim while putting it in. Contributed 10 points and 4 rebounds in her first game. McClave certainly plays and has an edge on the floor.
Hope Hassmann 2023 5’7” PG Oregon Elite/Tahoma HS – Hope is a serviceable guard that is extremely poised and skilled for her age that has had the ability to show this in big strides. At the end of the second contest in a close game, Hope took the ball the entirety of the court and scored off a lay-up that helped them seal the deal as she had 8 points and 3 steals. She makes plays on both ends of the floor and can go out with any unit of players and make a difference.
