Samaria Tipps: The 5’4 guard from Foard high school had a breakout freshman season. She averaged nearly 14 points per game, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. She is a crafty with the ball in her hands, can get into the pain and create easy buckets for her self, and she only had 2 games this last season where she did not score in double-digits. She is an okay 3 point shooter, has plenty of time to become more consistent from deep range. She is a feisty defender, can shoot the gaps, and makes plays for herself and teammates. She has a lot of potential and growth to overcome in the next 3 seasons.
Ella Abernathy: The 5’7 guard from Draughn high school is another player who had a breakout freshman season. She scored almost 12 points per game, and grabbed 4 boards. It was midway through the season where she really found her groove, she really found her way to be able to score in bunches. She only had 4 games in the later half where she did not score in double-digits. She shoots the 3 ball pretty consistently for a freshman, so should only get better moving forward. She grabbed over 100 boards this last season as well. She is tough, and hard nosed, she plays hard, she should keep developing and make a college coach happy in 3 years.
Aubrie Snyder: The 6’0 forward from East Burke is a pretty traditional post player. In her freshman year she averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds. (5 rebounds as a freshman is pretty dang good) She is pretty crafty around the rim already, can finish on both sides of the rim, and has good size. She grabbed 6+ rebounds in 7 different games, including her season high 12 rebounds in an early January win. Aubrie has good size, plays hard, and is coachable. If she keeps developing she should have no problem finding a home in 3 years.
