Zoe Henderson Zoe Henderson 5'11" | SF Northside Christian | 2023 NC led all scorers with 11 points. She was dynamic in her ability to move with the ball. She was aggressive with her movements even without the ball, and she contributed a number of rebounds for her team. She could turn a steal or a rebound into a fast break opportunity quickly. There is certainly a reason she is ranked as one of the top players in the state of North Carolina.
Amiyah Ferguson and Kayla Deckar added 6 points each. Ferguson showed off her shot hitting a crucial three pointer late in the game to pretty much seal the deal for Team Curry. Deckar hit multiple three pointers early in the game creating the lead for her team.
Riley Smith had 8 points for Lady Attack Elite. She is a quick guard who finds her way in the openings in opponents’ defenses easily whether she is dribbling there or looking for a pass. As a point guard, she showed a great vision on the court knowing where to go with the ball. She was quick always being one of the first players to get back on defense ready to prevent the other team from scoring.
Emma Phibbs added 6 points. She showed good post moves fighting through contact. She ran the floor well and made impactful cuts toward the basket turning that into contributions for her team. She was constantly moving and even made a point to move into the passes that came her way preventing the other team from stealing them.
