Tatum Bowen continues to impress with her shooting abilities. Coming off the bench, she came right in ready to score from behind the arc. Her IQ is already incredibly high knowing where to go with the ball and how to make the best moves when she has the ball to score. She is not scared to drive inside against contact, and she knows how to create separation. She seems to follow shots directly to where they are going to come off the basket.
Reagan Iovino is one of the toughest defenders that you will see in high school. She is quick on her feet and shows no fear to take some contact in order to prevent her opponent from scoring. She even contributes rebounds as well for her team. That isn’t her only strength, though, as she has an excellent shot. When you watch her play, you have no doubt that she is in fact the one who broke a freshman record for three pointers in a season.
Zara Douglas is aggressive with the ball showing off her post moves inside. She had help in the post from Abriel Thrash who is a player who seems to be able to do it all. She can guard all five positions on the court, and she shows strength when going against tough defenders.
Caroline Cady is great inside grabbing rebounds and working her post moves to create some space for herself. She is very vocal and keeps her head on a swivel when on defense making her an asset all over the court.
Monique Cepeda continues to be one of the first players down the court on every fast break. On offense, she shows great movements without the ball cutting backdoor for some easy points and making her defender lose her. She is also an aggressive defender and knows how to create turnovers for the opposing teams, especially when it comes to five second violations.
Ashton Ziegler (Team Flight) showed some great defense keeping her opponent where she wants them and knowing where to slide into a help position. She had some steals that quickly turned into fast breaks where she took it all the way herself. On offense, she shows some promise with her shot and was not scared to drive inside against some tough contact.
Shania Bailey had some nice moves with the ball and worked around defenders to get close to the basket. She definitely shows her passion for the game when she plays as well being a vocal player on the court.
Dafimya Hurton was the main guard running the point position for Team Flight. She knew how to control the tempo for her team and had some nice moves to get herself inside the lane. She was aggressive and not scared to be sent to the free throw line to finish off her points. She even had a block in the game showing that she is a tough defender.
