PNW Elite Guard Combine Eval String (Part 2)

This past weekend Prep Girls Hoops had the opportunity to view several players from around the region that caught our eye at the Elite Guard Combine hosted by trainer Nate Bowie. Below is part two of the string of evals from players that stood out. <p class="o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql">2022 [player_tooltip player_id="27942" first="Iliana" last="Moran"] (Hanford WA) Probably the quickest guard at that combine but came in with the mindset that she will be a household name. She raised her stock after showing out at the combine by making plays with the ball in her hands. Excited to follow her this season.</p> <p class="o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql">2022 [player_tooltip player_id="191424" first="Kali" last="Haizlip"] (Emerald Ridge WA) Interest: St. Mary’s, Howard Univ., Hartford, UMES, Virgin Island Univ. Big guard with a potential to play multiple positions. She showed flashes throughout the combine why she is a next level player with her size and athleticism from the guard position.</p> <p class="o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql">2024 Mauriana Hashmemian (Benson OR) Probably the best incoming freshman in the state that’s looking to start at Benson. She is a very heady and quick player that makes up for her lack of size by playing tenacious defense with a high IQ.</p> <p class="o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql">2023 [player_tooltip player_id="158540" first="Onna" last="Brown"] (Benson OR) Interest: Washington State, Boise State, Ole Miss and more. Just a complete all around player that can play multiple positions. Most importantly is her aggressive attitude and style of play. A player that will be receiving offers here very soon.</p> <p class="o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql">2022 [player_tooltip player_id="27935" first="Aniyah" last="Heavens"] (Chiawana WA) Interest: Pepperdine, EWU, Weber State, Howard Univ. Stayed focus and hungry throughout the whole combine. Proving why she is one of the top guards in the state of Washington. Great at using her body to clear space as she can get to the paint easily and get her shot off.</p> <p class="o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql">2023 [player_tooltip player_id="200881" first="Aaliyah" last="Strayhorne"] (Emerald Ridge WA) Reported Offers: D1 NC A&amp;T, Texas RGV, One of the best shooters in the state proving she deserved to be among the top talents in the PNW. Fresh off a D-1 offer from the combine. Making her officially holding 3 D-1 offers.</p>
